The Dayton International Airport temporarily shut down due to a plane crash on Wednesday evening. According to FAA officials, just after 7 p.m. United Express Air Wisconsin Flight 3818 slid off the runway shortly after landing. According our sister station WDTN, 45 passengers and 3 crew members were aboard the plane at the time of the crash. The FAA sent out a statement about the incident Wednesday evening. Air Wisconsin Flight 3818 slid off the runway after landing at Dayton International Airport around 7:10 p.m. local time today. No injuries were reported. Passengers were bused to the terminal. The Bombardier CRJ200 departed from Washington Dulles International Airport. The FAA will investigate.
