A West Chester man is charged with multiple counts of voyeurism in three separate cases in Butler and Hamilton counties.Marty Worley, 21, is accused of spying on women and photographing them inside local department stores. The latest criminal charge stems from an incident inside Target at the Voice of America shopping center on June 2.A store employee called 911."I have a peeping Tom in the store right now," the caller said. "He's very blatant about it. He went up to this one woman seven times. He just took pictures of her right next to a child."The caller said the man was photographing women and girls' backsides and up their skirts."He's just making laps. He's going around to another set of definitely minor girls. He's hunting. I mean, literally, I'm watching him hunt for girls right now. He's going to the makeup department where there's a bunch of little girls," the caller said. While on the phone with a dispatcher, the employee said he watched Worley take inappropriate photos of a dozen customers. The employee said he couldn't take it anymore and ended up confronting Worley before police arrived."I can't let this happen in front of me anymore," the caller said.According to a West Chester Township police report, two of the victims were 17 years old."That's disgusting and blows my mind," said Melissa Juneau, a Target shopper. Another customer, Alauna Patten, said, "It's creepy all the way around, but girls, 17-year-olds, they don't know about the real world yet and probably never would have expected that." This week, Worley was charged with voyeurism for that incident.WLWT confirmed he's also been charged in two other similar cases. On Jan. 17, West Chester police said Worley spied on a woman while she was trying on clothes in the dressing room at the Walmart on Cincinnati-Dayton Road for the "purpose of sexual arousal or gratification."Three days after that, in Hamilton County, deputies said Worley recorded a woman in the dressing room at the Symmes Township Kohls. WLWT tracked down Worley on Thursday."I don't want to talk to no news," he said.He referred us to his attorney, Mike Allen. Allen said because the three cases are pending in court, it was too soon to discuss the case.

A South Carolina woman is giving a peek into her relationship with a "momma bear" that she says she's recorded in photos and videos for about a decade.Susie, who did not want to give her last name, said her family's property adjoins a wildlife area, and judging from the images she's recorded, momma bear considers it her property too.The most recent video shows the adult female nursing her three cubs under a tree in her backyard."I took the video from our sunroom, zooming in with my cell phone," Susie said. She said the video was taken on May 20, and "momma bear and kids" stayed in her yard for about an hour and a half. "When she brings her family to our home, she will often take a long nap in the shade in the woods while her cubs climb trees, romp and wrestle in the backyard," Susie said. She claims this particular bear has been visiting her home for about a decade."These three cubs bring the count (of offspring) up to at least 10 cubs that we’ve had the privilege of watching her raise," Susie said. Susie says the photos on her phone of the mothering bear go back to 2017, "but she’s been coming around much longer than that."She chronicled the years from her photos and videos like this:In 2017-2018, she raised 1 cub In 2019-2020, she raised 2 cubs In 2021-2022, she raised quadruplets"And these triplets are her latest batch, probably born in January," Susie said.Susie said she has learned several lessons from the bear and her cubs through the years, some of them more painful than others."After she booted those two cubs out on their own in 2020, I was outside one evening, and could hear the cubs crying for her," she said. "It was utterly heartbreaking to hear them bellowing for her. I pray those cubs have fared well since."She's also learned that they have to take down their bird feeders when momma and the cubs come around, "or they will tear up the feeders to access the birdseed," she said.Susie says her house is evidently in momma’s regular territory, because she comes by every few days with the family, often lingering in the backyard. "Of course, we never know when she’ll show up, but when she does, if we’re outside--as my hubby was over Labor Day weekend when he was painting the house--we simply come inside until she and the kids mosey on," she said."I have to admit, it’s been awfully cute to watch the cubs rock on our deck rocking chairs and play on our deck lounge chairs," she said.Susie said she and her husband have had some close encounters with the momma bear over the years, and have a healthy respect for her. "She will charge if she believes we’re too close to the cubs," she said.Still, she describes the relationship she and her husband have with the bear:"This bear is such a good momma, and she’s been visiting our yard for so long, that we consider her and her family as almost a part of our family. In no way do we regard her or her cubs as pets (she could take us out with one swipe of her paw), but I worry about their safety and regularly keep momma and her cubs in my prayers."

BAGHDAD (AP) — Pope Francis has urged Iraqis to treat their Christian brothers as a precious resource to protect, not an “obstacle” to eliminate as he opens the first-ever papal visit to Iraq.

The pontiff has brushed aside coronavirus and security worries to make the visit in a show of support for Iraq's beleaguered Christians.

At a church where Christians suffered one of their worse massacres by militants a decade ago, Francis recognized the community's traumas but urged them to stay in Iraq to ensure the community endures.

Iraqi President Barham Salih has echoed his call for tolerance, saying “The East cannot be imagined without Christians.”

If you’ve ever wondered why your face looks gorgeous in real life, and then not-so-great in the selfie you just took, you’re not alone. A few scientists apparently also got so fed up with their lack of decent-looking profile pics, they decided to invest time into figuring out exactly what causes some selfies to look like so bad. According to a research letter published in the JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery journal in 2018, the reason your pic looks less than stellar is because of the position of your arm — namely, that your arm would need to be 5 feet long in order to take a selfie that doesn't distort your facial features. The study found that selfies taken at just 12 inches away (the average distance between your extended arm and your face) forced a "funhouse mirror" perspective that makes your nose look up to 30% wider than it is in real life. Great! “For years, I've heard patients and family members say, ‘Oh, look at my nose, it looks so big,’ when they show me a selfie," Dr. Boris Paskhover, study co-author and plastic surgeon, said in an interview with Live Science. “I was always telling my patients, 'That's not how you really look.' I knew that selfies distort how your nose looks. And I wanted to prove it." Rather than just looking at a bunch of bad selfies and saying, “Yup, definitely looks weird,” Paskhover and his team of scientist buddies at Rutgers Medical School and Stanford University devised a mathematical model that compared the distortive effects different camera angles can have on male and female faces. The results? A photo taken from 5 feet away, “a standard portrait distance,” resulted in no distortion, but a photo taken from 12 inches away resulted in a 30% nose increase in men and a 29% increase in women. Luckily, you can combat the distortion by either giving up selfies altogether or, perhaps give the camera to a friend for that "perfect" shot. For tips on how to get a better picture, watch the related video above.
