to me about how does it feel to be Back out here? You know, so many of these fans had tickets in 2020. They had to be postponed. They thought you were gonna be back last year at the last minute. You guys had *** canceled because COVID started spiking again. So it could be back on tour here in Cincinnati for your fans. What's that like? It feels good. Try to remember that both not touring and touring is what you're supposed to be doing, right? So you answer the call. So as *** citizen not being together is what we needed to do. That breaks your heart. So getting back together, I gotta tell you what we're seeing. I don't think it has anything to do with garth brooks. I think people are so, so happy just to be back together again and you'll see in *** room where people, if they knew each other might not get along, my mom might be red might be blue out here. They're gonna have their arms around each other just singing the river together. Friends in low places, which then for me that means music for me is the voice of hope. So I love to watch that. That was my second question. It's like for three hours, this country is more divided for three hours. You get people who are divided on politics divided on issues who will come together and just to watch you, what is that like for you? I think they're just, I think what they're doing is hopefully is the music is replacing the music is showing them what we have more in common than what we have apart, right. And I think people are basically good. I think luke bryan, that song is is perfect and I love to see them come out and just sing and I think you see the true them when their eyes are closed and they feel like they're the only ones in the stadium singing it is it's *** beautiful thing. And I got the best seat in the house, so I get to watch it. But for you, you're talking about the fans for you to be back. How much did you miss it? You're missing *** lot. Try to remember that these guys are the guys have been playing with since day one. So we've been together our whole lives. So and we didn't get to see them during the pandemic either. So it's great to see them. Great for everybody to come back and I love it. And and our thing is always this, there's there's people in the crowd that had masks still alright, respect that we all get over this at our own pace, respect it and there's so much love out there. But the truth is when everybody's singing, close your eyes, you don't know who has mask, you don't and you don't know who's red or blue, That's what makes it *** joy? Yes, ma'am. Are you back until you can't walk out there on stage again, will you ever take *** break again? No, Well we came out of retirement 2014. I told you then you've made the mistake of letting me back in now. You have to kick me out. So we'll see how long this goes. Yes, ma'am. Okay. Favorite country music song of all time for you. Oh, he stopped loving her today or country bumpkin cal smith. Favorite Garth brooks song the Dance. This is an easy game so far. I never passed the test favorite. This is *** toughie favorite city. You play in it. It's got to be Cincinnati. Wait now, you know, we have *** kind of *** Cincinnati thing. Yes, ma'am. Have you tried our chili? I've heard of it, but of course this is not our first time to play here. So skyline, we've all done. Yes, of course you be honest. Do you like? Of course, look at me, do I look like I didn't like anything. Okay. Lastly, you know, you're *** baseball player. Um, follow sports. I can tell you just came from Xavier. I don't know if you've seen but are struggling *** little bit this year. They might need you, you're willing to like step in. That's very sweet anybody that gets to wear the big red machine is lucky, blessed because these guys are these guys are legends no matter what their season is. But are you sure you want to say that after the last four games because they've been kicking it out of everybody? Okay, good luck. I need that. I need that concert tomorrow night. I need that one to happen. Who's your meteorologist? Tell Kevin. Get to work?

After several postponements during COVID-19 restrictions, Garth Brooks is in Cincinnati this weekend. The country music legend is playing two shows at Paul Brown Stadium, one on Friday and one on Saturday. Because Saturday night's show sold out, Brooks added another show Friday night because he wanted to make sure everyone who wants to see him can.WLWT's Sheree Paolello had a one-on-one interview with Brooks ahead of Friday's show. She asked him about his tour and playing in Cincinnati."As a citizen, not being together was what we needed to do and it breaks your heart, so getting back together, we're seeing... The city's Super Bowl runner-ups may have a new stadium name for the upcoming 2023 season.A source confirmed to WLWT's Brandon Saho that the Bengals ownership is actively shopping the naming rights for Paul Brown Stadium. This comes after a previous season in which the Bengals exploded into the national spotlight following a historic Super Bowl appearance.Almost 22 years ago, Paul Brown Stadium opened for its first NFL game. The name, Paul Brown Stadium, is currently one of three NFL stadiums that do not have a corporate naming deal. The other two are Soldier Field in Chicago and Lambeau Field in Green Bay.A potential "new name" deal would not be possible without vote from both Hamilton County and City Hall of Cincinnati. This is because Paul Brown Stadium is owned by the Hamilton County taxpayers, so both sides will have to vote on the potential deal.Yet still, a name change could bring in a flux of new money to the team. Recently, arch-rival the Pittsburgh Steelers, recently changed the name of "Heinz Field" to "Acrisure Stadium", after the insurance company bought the naming rights just a few weeks ago. This is a breaking news story. WLWT will continue to update you with any new information.

<p>CINCINNATI — The delegation tasked with <a class="Link" href="https://youtu.be/FjJKFKKBbYA">sizing up potential host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup</a> is on its way to Dallas after a busy Friday looking into what Cincinnati has to offer.</p>
<p>Delegates split into four groups visited the Banks, Paul Brown Stadium and training facilities, as well as met with business and political leaders to decide if Cincinnati is the right place to host World Cup games. Officials must ensure <a class="Link" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmzcEZpHolY">facilities meet the goals of a world-class venue</a>, meaning infrastructure plays a big role in their decision. Still, there is more than brick and mortar that goes into the decision. When picking host cities, delegates are also looking at the community.</p>
<p>"What they're so focused on and concerned about is the spirit of the city...the spirit of this region," said Julie Calvert with Cincinnati USA Convention &amp; Visitors Bureau. "What's important to them is the authenticity, the spirit of the people here."</p>
<p>Despite the rain, <a class="Link" href="https://youtu.be/qxVLRd7FVfI">soccer fans turned out</a> — showing off their authenticity and pride in Cincinnati in hopes of seeing the world's greatest players in five years. The passion did not go unnoticed, with Concacaf President Victor Montagliani calling the city "an authentic bunch."</p>
<p>"I love Cincinnati, and for them to get a chance to have such a big, you know, world spotlight on them would be amazing, and I think they can do great things with it," fan Maria Vassanelli said.</p>
<p><span class="VideoEnhancement" data-video-disable-history=""></p>
<p>FIFA delegates visit Cincinnati for World Cup pitch</p>
<p></span></p>
<p>Organizers of the bid said the excitement would not only apply to Cincinnati, but surrounding areas. The city has regional partnerships with Cleveland, Columbus, Louisville and other cities to ensure fan experience throughout the region — exciting fans throughout the Tri-State.</p>
<p>"This is an exciting possibility for not only Cincinnati, but for the whole showcase of Northern Kentucky, Indiana. People will come down from all over," fan Jeffery Fromen said. "Three states right together, they have a lot to offer."</p>
<p>Delegates are also thinking about the future of soccer — and Cincinnati brought plenty of young fans to give a look into the area's fanbase.</p>
<p>"Ultimately, the World Cup is delivered by people. That's what's been great to see here today is how everyone has pulled together across the Tri-States and to want to host the World Cup here," said Colin Smith, FIFA's chief competitions and events officer. "The presentation we received today was excellent."</p>
<p>If things go Cincinnati's way, officials said, the World Cup could <a class="Link" href="https://youtu.be/VcONEATrHkA">bring up to $480 million to the Tri-State</a>. There are still 17 other U.S. cities in the running — and organizers believe the city has a great chance of hosting a group stage. A decision should be made by March 2022.</p>

<p>CINCINNATI — For the Bengals coaching staff, the anticipation for the upcoming season can be equated to that of a child waiting to see what Santa Claus brought.</p>
<p>“It’s like Christmas morning again,” said Bengals assistant head coach Darrin Simmons. “I know what’s in the wrapping, but I haven’t gotten to play with the toys yet.”</p>
<p>Training camp begins this week, in a year when the expectations are higher than in recent seasons.</p>
<p>“We need to do better; we know that,” team owner Mike Brown said. “We think we’re in position to do that. We look forward to doing better and getting the stadium looking the way at games that we think it should.”</p>
<p>He’s talking about packing Paul Brown Stadium with fans, which they are allowed to do this season with COVID-19-related attendance restrictions having been lifted.</p>
<p>“You just feel that excitement that you forgot that you missed,” Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said. “You didn’t forget, but you didn’t get to experience it. Now that it’s back, I know that our players are juiced up. Our fans, our coaches, everybody’s ready to get a full crowd out here and get after it.”</p>
<p>A full crowd at home would be the first of quarterback Joe Burrow’s pro career. Remarkably, Burrow is fully cleared to practice on day one of training camp — eight months after a serious knee injury.</p>
<p>"To be where he is now does not surprise me," offensive coordinator Brian Callahan said. "It's almost unfairly expected just because we know how he works."</p>
<p>The Bengals are looking for their first winning season since 2015. </p>
<p>The team kicks off their 2021 campaign Sept. 12 at home against the Minnesota Vikings.</p>

<p>CINCINNATI — Yogis gathered at Paul Brown Stadium Saturday for NamasDey, and this year's virtual yoga event raised money for an organization that expands access to feminine care products.</p>
<p>NamasDey was presented by Kroger and U by Kotex in partnership with <a class="Link" href="https://tidalbabe.org/">Tidal Babe Period Bank</a>.</p>
<p>The organization was founded in 2018, when advocates learned that one in four women in the Cincinnati area struggle to get feminine products. Since then, Tidal Babe has helped an average of 1,500 women a month by sending them period supply kits.</p>

<p>"It's not only a health issue," said Anna MacLennan with the Hamilton County Commission on Women and Girls. "It's also a hygiene issue and, frankly, a personal dignity issue. If you don't have that product, you can't feel comfortable, you can't feel safe, you can't feel clean. So, if you don't go to school, you don't go to work, that can just exacerbate inequalities that already exist."</p>

<br />We are continuing our series on making plans for this new year. A great place to visit is Cincinnati Ohio. There is so much to see in this historic city. Great food and architecture. Get on a street car and enjoy going around some of the town. This city houses the Cincinnati Bengals and The Cincinnati Red at the The Great American Ball park. There are cultural things at the City Music Hall. Also wonderful museums. Camping resorts close along with affordable hotels right downtown. Also for the young and old alike, King's Island Amusement park along with a water park is close.</p>
<p>We are Duane and Deana Floro and are weekend warriors. We love to travel and love to share with others where we have been. We want to show you how to maximize your weekend as you travel with less stress, showing you how to have a quick and easy setup, while giving you time to create many memories yourselves. Come join us as we travel while also showing you tips and tricks for your travels. </p>
<p>Even though our RV is in hibernation until spring, we are planning for next year. These series of videos are showing where we have traveled this past season. Our purpose is to help you make choices of where you might like to plan a vacation in your near future near the midwest. Kentucky and the Ark can be one of those places for all to see. There is so much more to see than what we were able to this past summer. Enjoy your journey.</p>
