											SIDE OF THAT AND YOU DON’T THINK YOU’RE GOING TO GET OUT OF IT. ATWH AN INTERESTING THING THAT IS. LET’S BRING IN KEVIN ROBINSON. HE’S GOING TO TALK ABOUT A LITTLE RAIN COMING OUR WAY THIS WEEKEND. HOPEFULLY SOME DRY TIMES, TOO. KEN:VI FOR ALL THE TALK OF RAIN AND SEREVE WEATHER SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY MORNING, ITS I POSSIBLE WHERE IT WORKS OUT THAT THE ACTUAL EVENTS, THE BIG RACES ARNDOU TOWN, HAVE MINIMAL IMPACT FROM THE WET WEATHER. LET’S KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED. ON A WEEKEND LIKE THIS, IT IS ALL ABOUT TIMING. WE KNOW FOR SUREHE TRE WILL BE RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS, BUT AT THIS POINT, I WILL SHOW YOU WHY I THINK THINGS MAY WORK OUT IN OUR FAVOR. WE HAVE HAD MESO SHOWERS AND SPRINKLES, MORE SPRINKLES BEEN SHOWERS, AROUND THE AREA THIS EVENING. THIS INITIAL WAVE HAS BEEN FIGHTING A LOT OF DRY AIR. EVEN NOW, A LOT OF WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT REACHING THE GROUND. I WAS ARNDOU DINNERTIME, I ENCOUNTERED A BRIEF SPRINKLE. ENOUGH THAT IF YOU LOOK ON YOUR WINDSHIELD YOU COULD SEE IT. NOT MUCH. MAYBE MORE SUBSTANTIAL SPRINKLE AND SHOWER ACTIVITY ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST INDIANA, PARTS OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY. EVEN HERE IT HAS BEEN LIGHT, BUT TOWARD HER SIDE, &gt;&gt; FIL AND, THERE COULBED LEFTOVER --BU T TORDWA BRECKSVILLE AND V ERSAILS,LE SPRINKLES. AS THE WARM FRONT ARRIVES TOMORROW NIGHT, WE COULD HAVE AN UPTICK IN RAIN. TONIGHT, GENERALLY QUIET THE REST OF THE NIGHT, MAYBE DAYS BRENGLE HERE WERE THE.RE TEMPERATURES GET DOWN IN THE UPPER -- SPRINKLE HERE WERE THERE. TEMPERATURES GET DNOW IN -- SOME PEAKS AT THE SUN TOMORROW, ALSO CLOUDS, BUT MOSTLY DRY. LET’S LOOK INTO ETH WEEKEND, WE STARTED TELLING YOU LAST NIGHT ABOUT HOW I SAW A STORMY WEATHER PATTERN GETTING TO DEVELOP FOR ABOUT THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO. AS THINGS START TO LOOK MORE LIKE MAY, THAT IS THE CASE GOING INTOHE T NIGHT SATURYDA INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. I AM WATCHING MAYBE WLDOU COULD BE OUR FIRST POTENTIAL FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IN THERE. WE WILL BREAK THAT DOWN IN A MOMENT, BUT HOW ABOUT THE RAIN? A 50 MILE WEST RACE TOMORROW, THERE WILL BE RAIN TOMORROW EVENING BUT AT ETH CLOCK, IT IS STILL DRY. LITTLETON NO IMPACT. THE TOYOTA 10K IS WHAT I’M WATCHING MORE CLOSELY. I DO THINK THERE IS RAIN THAT ENDS EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. THIS IS AT 7:00 A.M.. THE PAVEMENT MAY BE RIGHT -- WET BUT RAIN IS TAPERING OFF. AUBETIFUL BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON, WARM AND BREEZ AY, LITTLE HUMID, GOOD FOR THE FLYING FIRM. AND FOR SUNYDA MORNING, STORMY CLOSE TO RACE TIME AND THEN STORMS ARE OUT. CLOUDS TOMORROW, MOST OF THE DAY’S DRIVE, SIX CLOCK P.M. IT IS STILL DRY. AFTER 6:00, TRANSFER SHOWERS GO UP BUT IT LOOKS TO BE CLOSER TO MIDNIGHT BEFORE IT TURNS WET. 7:00 A.,.M RAIN WRAPPING UP SATURDAY MORNING SO THAT BY AFTERNOON, 5:30, WE ARE NICE AND DRY, WARM AND BREEZY. SATUAYRD EVENING LOOKS GOOD, OVERNIGHT SATURDAY IS A DIFFERENT STORY. WE RUN THE RISK OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS, IT WILL AT THE LEAST ETH NOISY BY 6:30, RIGHT CLOSE TO RACE TIME, THE WEATHER IS CLEARING OUT AND WE SET UP FOR A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY INHE T END. HERE WE ARE TONIGHT, 56. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, MOST OF US ST ILL IN THE 50’S. TEMPERATURES WLIL DROP MUCH MORE OVERNIGHT, WE WILL GET DOWN TO THE MID UPPER 40’S MORNING, MAYBE A PASSING SPRINKLE. BETTER CHANCE FOR RAIN CLOSER TO MIDNIGHT, BUT THERE COULD BE A BRIEF SHOWER AS EARLY AS THE EVENING. YOUR SEVEN-DAY FORECAST SHAKING OUT LIKE THIS, MIKE AND SHEREE, THE FIT RSTHREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER SATURDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SUNDAYOR MNING, THEN WE CATCH OUR BREATH MONDAY. BUT IT LOOKS BUSY NEXT WEEK, TUESYDA COULD BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF POTENT STORMS. IT I

					The Christ College of Nursing has trained thousands of health care leaders who have practiced near and far in its 120 years. "So many have gone on, not only in this region but across the country, providing care for thousands upon thousands of patients," said VP of Strategy &amp; Business Affairs Brad Jackson.Saturday at the 120th commencement ceremony, 161 new graduates will be sent out into the field once again to help change the world. "I'm definitely excited, but very nervous being as I am a new nurse and it's critical care unit, but I am very open to learning and I can't wait to learn all the new ropes," said RN, BSN graduate Brooke Kunstman.Kunstman and at least two of her classmates will head straight into the action as intensive care unit nurses in the medical and surgical units at Christ Hospital. Kylie Montgomery says COVID-19 wasn't a deterrent but preparation to head into the field with confidence. "I believe health care workers are like firefighters or those people that run into the fight and COVID is our fire and this is our fight," Montgomery said.A fight that has taken many out of the game, but nursing students like Joe Stinger, who believes he adds a valuable component to the field, say the pandemic mixed with the already rigorous coursework taught him to be resilient. Stinger's part of the 7% of male nurse graduates in this year's class. He says more men should consider the field."Men are really viewed sometimes as being more , I guess more stern. We're just looked at as a little bit more intimidating. I want to make sure that our patients know that we care just as much as everybody else," Stinger said. This is the first year since 2019 when many of the ceremonial traditions will be back to normal. Next year, the college will welcome a degree in diagnostic medical sonography.

<p>California is the first U.S. state to formally begin examining how to broadly adapt to cryptocurrency and related technologies, following a path laid out by President Joe Biden in March. </p>
<p>Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order on Wednesday for California agencies to move in tandem with the federal government to craft regulations for digital currencies. It also calls for the state to explore incorporating broader blockchain technologies into state operations. </p>
<p>Ohio was the first to attempt to accept virtual currency for government services in 2018, though the program was soon discontinued. Colorado Gov. Jared Polis says his state will begin accepting cryptocurrency for government services later this year.</p>

<p>As <a class="Link" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/04/california-governor-signs-executive-order-on-cryptocurrencies.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNBC reported</a>, Newsom's directive should have California's Business and Economic Development Office working with California's Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency and the state's financial protection and innovation office. </p>
<p>Newsom's Senior Adviser and Director of the Office of Business and Economic Development in California Dee Dee Myers <a class="Link" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/04/california-governor-signs-executive-order-on-cryptocurrencies.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>, “Of the 800 blockchain businesses in North America, about a quarter of them are in California, dramatically more than any other state,” they said. “We’ve heard from so many that they want to be here, and we want to help them do that responsibly.”</p>

<p>
					A man indicted in a crash that left another man permanently disabled in 2020 has been arrested again on drug charges.Antonio Wright is indicted on charges of aggravated vehicular assault, operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, possession and trafficking fentanyl. Late August 2020, Cincinnati police said they tried to pull Wright over after he was involved in a drug deal. Police said he took off and seconds later, crashed into another driver.The other driver, Travis Feltner, was on his way to work in the IT department for Children's Hospital. He was seriously injured and after days in intensive care and weeks in the hospital, returned home to his family, a wife and eight children. Feltner has not been able to return to work after suffering a traumatic brain injury in the crash. He still deals with tingling and pain in his hands and frequent short-term memory loss.He is also adjusting to life as a single dad after losing his wife Amber to COVID-19 in the fall of last year. "Now everything is left on me," he said Thursday. "Making good money and all of a sudden I'm like ok we're barely getting by."Feltner filed a lawsuit against the Cincinnati police department for pursuing Wright. The pursuit lasted a matter of seconds prior to the crash. "I'm surviving," he said. "Being on long-term disability and everything and the gas prices soaring, it's just kind of a struggle each month." The crash that left him disabled happened three days after Wright was released from prison on robbery charges, according to police. In Wright's wrecked car, police reported finding a handgun, 35 grams of fentanyl and almost $10,000 in cash.Wright was released on bond within a few months.In December 2021, he was arrested again with a "bulk amount of heroin" packaged and prepared for distribution. He made bond a few days later. "This whole time I thought he's been behind bars," Feltner said. He learned this week that Wright was arrested again Sunday on drug charges. Police said Wright had heroin in his vehicle. After he was arrested and taken to the jail to be searched, court records say he pulled cocaine out of his rear area and swallowed it. Deputies said he also pulled a bag of Percocet from a body part, ingested some and "spilled it all over the room," trying to destroy it. He was charged with several crimes including bringing contraband into a corrections facility, trafficking drugs and tampering with evidence. "I don't think it's fair," Feltner said. "I've been through heck and back trying to survive when he's just out running around doing what he would like to do... I won't be able to work again. I have this short-term memory issue for the rest of my life."Wright, as of Tuesday, is being held without bond at the Hamilton County Justice Center. His next court date is May 16. Feltner said he is looking forward to getting his day in court. "What I've been through I wouldn't want no one else to go through at all," Feltner said.

					A former firefighter and paramedic for two local departments is facing more than a year behind bars after pleading guilty to violence and child endangerment charges. Some of the abuse was documented on video. Steven Hendrickson Jr. was working as a firefighter/paramedic for the Deerfield Township fire department in Warren County and Stonelick Township fire department in Clermont County. Hendrickson Jr. plead guilty to felony aggravated assault, child endangerment and domestic violence last week. He was previously indicted on five charges.Hendrickson Jr. resigned from Stonelick Township Fire Department within the last several months. He resigned from Deerfield Township Fire Department more recently, within the last several weeks. The department previously placed him on administrative leave. Exact dates were not immediately available Wednesday. Nicole Hempleman said her now ex-boyfriend wanted the two to appear happy to others and that nothing was going on between them. She gave birth to their baby girl last year."When he hit me, I looked down at Annabelle and I couldn't grow up letting her think that was normal," Hempleman said. "She would grow up thinking that is love, and that is not anywhere near close. You don't do that to somebody you love."She said Hendrickson Jr. hurt her and threatened her life on multiple occasions in their Clermont County home. She called 911 after an incident on October 7 and believes two incidents recorded on camera are the reason Hendrickson Jr. pleaded guilty. Her motion-censored surveillance camera caught Hendrickson Jr. knocking Hempleman's phone from her hand while she was in a pack and playing with their daughter. The video then appears to show him lifting Hempleman up and hitting her.The baby starts to cry, and Hempleman is seen on camera immediately calling 911. Court records said during that time, Hendrickson Jr. left the room and came back with a gun. Hempleman said she started documenting her abuse and took a video about a month earlier showing Hendrickson holding their baby and telling Hempleman to stop recording her."Put your phone away. I'm (expletive) holding the baby. Stop recording me. You're going to lose it," Hendrickson said. "Put it down. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..."What happens next is too violent to show. Hempleman leaves the room with her phone still recording. Within six seconds, Hempleman screams and is then seen in a chokehold. "You don't understand what it's like unless you're there living it and the fear and the way that people get into your head," Hempleman said. "The feeling of getting out and getting mental help, going and getting therapy and all that stuff, it's so relieving. I'm a completely different person now. It turns you into something you're not."Hendrickson Jr. is set to be sentenced next month. He faces a maximum of a year and a half in jail. Hempleman was in court the day Hendrickson Jr. plead guilty."For so long he told me nobody is going to believe you. Nobody is gonna believe you. I'm a firefighter," Hempleman said. "Hearing that guilty plea, it was almost like I was finally heard."

											to me about how does it feel to be Back out here? You know, so many of these fans had tickets in 2020. They had to be postponed. They thought you were gonna be back last year at the last minute. You guys had *** canceled because COVID started spiking again. So it could be back on tour here in Cincinnati for your fans. What's that like? It feels good. Try to remember that both not touring and touring is what you're supposed to be doing, right? So you answer the call. So as *** citizen not being together is what we needed to do. That breaks your heart. So getting back together, I gotta tell you what we're seeing. I don't think it has anything to do with garth brooks. I think people are so, so happy just to be back together again and you'll see in *** room where people, if they knew each other might not get along, my mom might be red might be blue out here. They're gonna have their arms around each other just singing the river together. Friends in low places, which then for me that means music for me is the voice of hope. So I love to watch that. That was my second question. It's like for three hours, this country is more divided for three hours. You get people who are divided on politics divided on issues who will come together and just to watch you, what is that like for you? I think they're just, I think what they're doing is hopefully is the music is replacing the music is showing them what we have more in common than what we have apart, right. And I think people are basically good. I think luke bryan, that song is is perfect and I love to see them come out and just sing and I think you see the true them when their eyes are closed and they feel like they're the only ones in the stadium singing it is it's *** beautiful thing. And I got the best seat in the house, so I get to watch it. But for you, you're talking about the fans for you to be back. How much did you miss it? You're missing *** lot. Try to remember that these guys are the guys have been playing with since day one. So we've been together our whole lives. So and we didn't get to see them during the pandemic either. So it's great to see them. Great for everybody to come back and I love it. And and our thing is always this, there's there's people in the crowd that had masks still alright, respect that we all get over this at our own pace, respect it and there's so much love out there. But the truth is when everybody's singing, close your eyes, you don't know who has mask, you don't and you don't know who's red or blue, That's what makes it *** joy? Yes, ma'am. Are you back until you can't walk out there on stage again, will you ever take *** break again? No, Well we came out of retirement 2014. I told you then you've made the mistake of letting me back in now. You have to kick me out. So we'll see how long this goes. Yes, ma'am. Okay. Favorite country music song of all time for you. Oh, he stopped loving her today or country bumpkin cal smith. Favorite Garth brooks song the Dance. This is an easy game so far. I never passed the test favorite. This is *** toughie favorite city. You play in it. It's got to be Cincinnati. Wait now, you know, we have *** kind of *** Cincinnati thing. Yes, ma'am. Have you tried our chili? I've heard of it, but of course this is not our first time to play here. So skyline, we've all done. Yes, of course you be honest. Do you like? Of course, look at me, do I look like I didn't like anything. Okay. Lastly, you know, you're *** baseball player. Um, follow sports. I can tell you just came from Xavier. I don't know if you've seen but are struggling *** little bit this year. They might need you, you're willing to like step in. That's very sweet anybody that gets to wear the big red machine is lucky, blessed because these guys are these guys are legends no matter what their season is. But are you sure you want to say that after the last four games because they've been kicking it out of everybody? Okay, good luck. I need that. I need that concert tomorrow night. I need that one to happen. Who's your meteorologist? Tell Kevin. Get to work?

					After several postponements during COVID-19 restrictions, Garth Brooks is in Cincinnati this weekend.The country music legend is playing two shows at Paul Brown Stadium, one on Friday and one on Saturday. Students, parents and community members gathered for the last school board meeting of the year in Forest Hills. Recent controversy has many ready for public comment on the canceling of "Diversity Day."In the beginning, board member Leslie Rassmussen was told 'Diversity Day' was canceled due to an error."I was told it was related to a permission slip error," she said. That was not the case. In response, more than 300 students walked out in protest at Turpin and Anderson High School.“I think they just want their voices heard. These students were hurt and that’s just the reality. The students rallied. They showed grace and maturity and they put on their own diversity day. They raised about twelve thousand dollars to make that happen," Rassmussen said.Wednesday night those students along with their parents and community members would show up to the school board meeting, asking that 'Diversity Day' be reinstated. “The decision to cancel diversity day has robbed many of us from a great learning opportunity. I attended the event last year and I can say it was deeply engaging and educational," said one student. “Since Anderson Township is a predominately white community, my fellow students and I need to learn about diversity. We need to be prepared for life after high school," another student said.Among those speaking were executives of Fortune 500 companies; stating diversity, equity and inclusion are at the height of what companies are teaching their employees and that starting now is the way to go. Turpin Junior, Hannah Smith, spoke about how diversity day helps educate her friends about her culture. Barely making it through her speech, she spoke with WLWT after the meeting. "It makes me sad almost as if we are going backward instead I feel like we should be going forward. That was the purpose of diversity day to educate people not only about race but to start a conversation about how people are different in our community and we need to recognize their differences," Smith said.The school board did not mention 'Diversity Day' as part of the meeting. They also did not say whether 'Diversity Day' would return on school grounds next year.

											CINCINNATI HAS BEEN SCHMOOZING SOME PEOPLE FROM OVERSEAS. WELL, IT WOULD BE QUITE THE HONOR RIGHT BIG RESTAURANTS IN WNTO AND YOU I’M GETTING WORD FOR MY PEOPLE ON THE STREET, SO I WOULD NOTE B SHOCKED. I REALLY WOULDN’T CINCINNATI I HOPE SO A BEAUTIFUL STADIUM, RIGHT? LET’S TALK OUABT THIS WEATHER AND THINGS IF YOU THOUGHT IT WAS BAD THIS MORNING IT WOKE ME UP. I BET IT WOKE YOU UP TOO. IT’S GONNA BE JUST AS BAD TOMORROW AFTERNOON, RIGHT? YEAH, YOU KNOW WHAT PROBABLY WOERS THAN THE SENSE THAT WILL HAVE STRONGER STORMS THIS MORNING. THEY WERE MARGINALLY SEVERE, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF LIGHTNING AND THUNDER RIGHT AND THAT’S GOING TO BE A CERTAINTY WITH ANY STORMS INCLUDING TOMORROASW WELL. BUT I THINK TOMORROW THERE’S A LITTLE BIT OF A BETTER THREAT THAT THE STORMS WILL HAVE A LITTLE MORE ABILITY TO TAP INTO THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY OF THE AFTERNOON. US YOU KWNO WHAT? I WAS ALMOST TEMPTED TO MOVE THE DAMAGING WIND THREAT TO THE HIGH END BECAUSE I’M MORE THAN CERTAIN WE HAVE STRONG WIND STGUS AND DAMAGING WINDS WITH SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS TO MORROW. THAT IS ALMOST A CERTAINTYUT O THERE FOLLOWED BY THE THREAT FOR HAIL. AND OF COURSEOU Y SEE THE HEAVY RAIN THERE IN RED. I AM CONCERNED THAT BECAUSE ST ORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVERS THAT YOU KNOW, WE HAD TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN LAST NIGHT. I THINK SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL EASILY BABE LE TO PUT OUT ANOTHER ONE TO THREE INCSHE OF RAIN TOMORROW AND LOCALEDIZ SPOTS. SO YEAH, I AGAIN I THINK FLASH FLOODING WLIL BE A CONCERN FOR SOMEF O US AS WELL NOW IN RESPECTS TOHE T TORNADO THREAT, IT IS LOW, BUT IT’S NOT ZERO OUT THERE. SO JUST KIND OF RECAPPING THE INGREDIENTS THAT WE NEED HERE. WE’VE GOT A DECENT COLD FRONT COMING IN. WE’VE GOT HIGH INSTABILITY. SOME MOISTURE IN THE AIR. THAT’S WHY THE STORMS WILL BE STRONG. THEY’LL BE VERY ENERGETIC LOTS OF LIGHTNGNI AND THUNDER, YOU KNOW, AND THE GUSTY WINDS. THERE’S NOT A LOT OF TURNING MOTION IN THE ATMOSPHEER AND THAT’S WHY THE TORNADO THREAT IS PRETTY LOW. BUT AGAIN, THERE'L’ BE A LOT OF INSTABILITY. THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BE RYVE CONDUCIVE FOR THUNDERSTORMS. SO AGAIN WHILE LOW NOT ZERO THE SEVERE THREATE W ARE IN A SLIGHT RISK FOR ABOUT TWO-THIRDS OF THE TRI-STATE AND AGAIN, I THINK IT’S ABOUT EQUAL ACROSS THE ENTIRE. AR,EA ALTHOUGH THE FARTHER EAST YOU GO STORMS WILL ARRIVE A LITTLE LATER. I’LL PLAY IT RIGHT OUT FOR YOU RIGHT HERE. YOU CAN SEE IT HERE ON FUTURECAST. IT’S QUIET TONIGHT YOU WAKE UP INHE T MORNING THE STEAMY SUNSHINE THE AIR WILL FEEL HEAVY IT WILL FEEL LIKE ALL WE NEED IS A LITETL MATCH TO GET THINGS BLAZING OUT THERE. AND BASICLYAL THAT WILL BE THE SUN COME AFTERNOON NOTICE LUNCH TIME. IT'’ STILL QUIET LOOKS WHAT STARTS TO HAPPEN BY TWO BETWEEN TWO AND THREE I THINK STORMS BEGIN TO ERUPT ACROSS THE AREA AND THEN LOOK HOW IT REALLY FILLS IN. THE AFTERNOON AND THEN ON INTO THE EVENING HOURS AND THIS IS YWH I’M MORE THAN CERTAIN SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL PACK A PUNCH WITH DAMAGGIN WINDS. THEY’LL ROLL THRGHOU THROUGHOUT THE EVENING HOURS FINGERS CROSSED THE ENTIRE EVENINGS. NOT A LOSS MAYBE AFTER EIGHT OR NINE BECAUSE THE ATMOSPHERE HAS WORKED OVE IRT GETS QUIET FOR A LITTLE WHILE. WE ARE NOT IN THE CLEAR THOUGH OF RAIN BECAUSE WE HAVE THE THREAT FOR RAIN AND STORMS RIGHT UP THROUGH AT LEAST MID-MORNING ON SUNDAY BY THE TIME WE GET TO PROBABLY 10 OR 11 SUNDAY. MORNING, WE SHOULD BE IN THE CLEAR OF WET WEATHER AND IT’S DRIEROR F YOUR SUNDAY EVENING AND COOLER AND TURNING LESS HUMID. THEY’LL START TO FLEE MORE COMFORTABLE OUT THERE FOR YOU. SO IT IS SULTRY OUT THERE TONIGHT. LOOK AT THAT 78 DEGREES STILL HERE IN CINCINNATI. WE’VE GOT TT HASOUTH BREEZE TEMPERATURE DEW POINTS IN THE MID 60S. WE’RE NOT GNGOI TO COOL OFF MUCH TONIGHT MANY AREAS ARE STILL AROUND 80 HAMILTON LOVELAND FOR EXAMPLE AND ALEXANDRIA. SO TEMPERATURES STAY IN THE 70S MOST OF THE NIGHT. SOME OF US WON’T OUT OF THE SEVENTIES. WE MAY SNEAK DOWN BRIEFLY INTO THE UPPER 60S BY MORNING. SO WARM BREEZES MOSTLY CLEAR A VERY SULTRY EVENING AND NIGHT TOMORROW. I’'S OBVIOUSLY A WEATHERMP IACT DAY WITH STRONG STORMS SEVERE STORMS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING, BUT BEFORE THEY GET THERE, IT’S GOING TO BE A PRETTY WHEN IN STEAMY OUT THERE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AGAIN ANY TIME AFTER TWO I THINK STORMS ARE GOING UP. REHE’S YOUR SEVEN-DAY FORECAST AND YOU CAN SEE THERE COOLER ON SUNDAY ONLY 70 FOR A HIGH WITH THE RAIN EARLY AND THEN KIN ODF REFRESHING START TO EARLY NEXT WEEK B

					The struggle is real for local families trying to feed their babies. Now scammers are preying on them online like Facebook and Craigslist, to try and trick families into buying formula and not receiving it. Carol Claussen is a stay-at-home mother of three, most recently NICU twins. Staying away from scammers she spends her time searching store by store for baby formula."I put those orders in and loaded up my two babies and my 3-year-old and we went driving around and picked up this formula," Claussen said. “We spent the better part of our morning and afternoon just driving around the city and picking up formula."Three hours, driving more than 70 miles and more than five stores. The twins are on a special formula for prematurity that takes more calories than regular store formula. The formula shortages now spilling over into non-similac brands.“While that formula was not affected by the recall it was very hard to find. So we switched to just plain store brand formulas shouldn’t be anything difficult to find — but it is," she said. Claussen normally goes through a tub and a half of formula in one feeding day. Now one tub must last two days for the twins. “Obviously I don’t want to see the other moms struggling but it is so nice that when the world is going crazy that we as moms are coming together and really fighting for each other," Claussen said.

					A woman is dead after engaging in a shootout with officers at an apartment complex in Clermont County Friday evening. Just released body camera footage shows the moments police shoot back. “I could see the writing on the wall, I didn’t think it was going to go this far. I don’t think anyone expects this to happen," said Casey Greenberg, the neighbor who first called police to do a welfare check on the woman.Police came and left. Moments after police said they received a 911 call at around 5 p.m. from someone stating a woman was spotted in the parking lot of the Berry Lane Apartments on Business 28 in Miami Township with a gun."I need police at Berry Lane Apartments some lady just walked outside, shirtless, and just shot a gun in the air," Greenberg said.Additional callers said the woman fired off two rounds and then approached a resident. Here is that resident's 911 call: "She's coming at us with the gun. She's coming at you with a gun? Get out of there then OK." Miami Township officers arrived at the scene at around 5:02 p.m. While officers were at the scene, they said the woman fired a round at an officer. The officers advised her to drop her gun, but she did not."Some of these officers knew this female they had dealt with her in the past on different calls. They almost had a vested interest in it because they knew her," said Miami Township police chief Mike Mills.A police officer raised his weapon and at that time, the woman fired another round at the officer. The officer returned fire at the woman and she fell to the ground."The officer that had the vantage point raised up with his weapon and she fired another round. He engaged her with six rounds and she went down," Mills said.EMS arrived at the scene and provided care to the woman. Air Care was also called to the scene. EMS took her to Air Care and Air Care officials pronounced her dead.Right now, Miami Township police are not identifying the woman as they're still working to notify her family.Police said they do believe mental health may have been a contributing factor in the shooting."We have officers that are highly trained (for mental health), however, when somebody shoots at us, we don't have time. We've run out of options at that point," Mills said.As soon as the police department was notified they contacted Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Police said the veteran officer who fired shots at the woman will be placed on administrative leave following the bureau's investigation. He was not injured.

<p>“I could see the writing on the wall, I didn’t think it was going to go this far. I don’t think anyone expects this to happen," said Casey Greenberg, the neighbor who first called police to do a welfare check on the woman.</p>
<p><!-- article/blocks/side-floater --></p>
<p><!-- article/blocks/side-floater --></p>
<p>Police came and left. Moments after police said they received a 911 call at around 5 p.m. from someone stating a woman was spotted in the parking lot of the Berry Lane Apartments on Business 28 in Miami Township with a gun.</p>
<p>"I need police at Berry Lane Apartments some lady just walked outside, shirtless, and just shot a gun in the air," Greenberg said.</p>
<p>Additional callers said the woman fired off two rounds and then approached a resident. Here is that resident's 911 call: "She's coming at us with the gun. She's coming at you with a gun? Get out of there then OK." </p>
<p>Miami Township officers arrived at the scene at around 5:02 p.m. While officers were at the scene, they said the woman fired a round at an officer. The officers advised her to drop her gun, but she did not.</p>
<p>"Some of these officers knew this female they had dealt with her in the past on different calls. They almost had a vested interest in it because they knew her," said Miami Township police chief Mike Mills.</p>
<p>A police officer raised his weapon and at that time, the woman fired another round at the officer. The officer returned fire at the woman and she fell to the ground.</p>
<p>"The officer that had the vantage point raised up with his weapon and she fired another round. He engaged her with six rounds and she went down," Mills said.</p>
<p>EMS arrived at the scene and provided care to the woman. Air Care was also called to the scene. EMS took her to Air Care and Air Care officials pronounced her dead.</p>
<p>Right now, Miami Township police are not identifying the woman as they're still working to notify her family.</p>
<p>Police said they do believe mental health may have been a contributing factor in the shooting.</p>
<p>"We have officers that are highly trained (for mental health), however, when somebody shoots at us, we don't have time. We've run out of options at that point," Mills said.</p>
<p>As soon as the police department was notified they contacted Ohio's Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Police said the veteran officer who fired shots at the woman will be placed on administrative leave following the bureau's investigation. He was not injured.</p>

<p>NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — The net separates teams during a volleyball game, but in a match-up Friday morning at the North Olmsted Senior Center in Ohio, it was the conduit connecting Morgan Berry with older members of her community.</p>
<p>“Two generations playing together. The energy is high, the vibes are good," said Morgan Berry, North Olmsted High School senior.</p>
<p>Sitting across from Berry was Jami Twingstrom.</p>
<p>"There is no age limit on what you can do," said Twingstrom.</p>
<p>The pair got the chance to show off their competitive side during a chair volleyball game.</p>

<p>"We've won two games out of two games and it's fun creaming them," said Twingstrom.</p>
<p>The smack-talking seniors took on seniors from North Olmsted High School.</p>
<p>"They have a lot of respect for us, and I'm so happy they came," said Laverne Simerale, senior center member.</p>

<p>"We just learned about the elderly and how much they mean to our community, they're not just some old people, they do a lot for our community, more than we think they do," said Owen Reyes, North Olmsted H.S. senior.</p>
<p>The laughs, smiles and cheers on the court are a way for this next generation to give back to those who came before them.</p>
<p>“Don't be playing on the computer, come and help us and have a lot of fun. That's what it is all about," said Simerale.</p>

WE’LLE B BACK INTO THE 70S TOMORROW RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE BACK. IN FACT, I THINK WE SEE AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT OF RAIN IN THE MORNINGND A THEN MAYBE A MIDDAY BREAK BEFORE THE POTENTIALOR F STRONGER STORMS INTO THE AFTERNOON, AND THESE WILL BE THOSE SOAKERS THAT WE SAW THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS OVER THE WEEKEND WITH THE INTENSE RAINLLFA GDOO BIT OF LIGHTNING. THURSDAY RAIN IS LIKYEL GENERALLY JUST PLAIN OLD RAIN MAYBE. BUBBLES OF THUNDER IN THERE BUT OVER THE COURSE OF THAT 48 HOUR TIME FRAME FROM WEDNESDAY TO THURSDAY. IT’S NOT A TOTALLY WASHOUT, BUT TIMING OUT THE BRAKES IN BETWEEN THE ROUNDS OF RAIN. IS STILL TRICKY EVEN A DAY OUT THURSDAY EXPECT RAIN SHOWERS 81 SCATTERED RAIN, EVEN ON FRIDAY AND TPEEMRATURES A LITETL BIT COOLER THERE BUT CHECK OUT THE END OFHE T WEEKEND SPECIFICALLY SUNDAY MONDAY FOR MEMORIAL DAY. <p>
					Update: 6:40 p.m.The senate committee voted to advance House Bill 99 after hearing testimony from both sides of the issue during a four-hour session on Tuesday. The bill will be moved to the Rules and Regulations committee for further deliberation. Original story:Among those who think it's not a smart move to make it easier for Ohio teachers to carry guns is 15-year-old Katherine Hiland."More guns in schools only increases the access that students have to guns," Hiland said. "And I would know best. I'm a teenager. We get up to a lot of trouble even when we don't mean to."Hiland testified before an Ohio Senate committee Tuesday in Columbus. The committee is considering House Bill 99, which would cut the training hours for school staff to be certified to carry guns in a school from 700 to 20."We were absolutely just sickened," Michelle Mueller said.Mueller is part of a gun safety group called Moms Demand Action. She said having more teachers with more weapons would be a serious step backward for Ohio."Our teachers are not, didn't sign up for this job to be sharpshooters," Mueller said. "They will tell you in their own voice. They are there to educate our children."Mueller said a better option is to expand background checks on gun buyers and to create a Red Flag law. Those are laws to keep guns out of the hands of people considered dangerous by loved ones and the legal system."The things that we know for certain is when these events happen in every school, there are certain staff who are going to give up their lives to buy these kids a few more seconds of life." Joe Eaton said.Eaton, with Buckeye Firearms, is a big proponent of making it simpler for educators to carry a gun. He says an armed teacher can make a difference if an active shooter suddenly appears."Even if the staff is able to confront them, it changes their focus - from the innocent people to the person confronting them. And that, in and of itself, saves lives," he said. "Teachers are willing to do that. We need to give them the opportunity to go home to their families at the end of the night also."Ohio's change in gun training is because of a state Supreme Court ruling. The justices ruled last year that because the General Assembly did not mandate specific requirements, that teachers would have to have the same training as police — about 700 hours. The bill being debated in Columbus lowers that number to 20 hours.

											NOW OUR CHIEF METEOROLOGY. YOU HEARD HER BRAGGING THERE ABOUTN I THIS EVENT THIS YEAR. NO RAIN. THE QUESTION IS HOW LONGO D WE GET TO ENJOY ALL OF THIS? OH THE ENTIRETY OF THE WEEKEND. KNOW WEAD H SO MUCH RAIN RIGHT DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. WHAT THE FIFTH WETTESTAY M ON RECORD HERE IN CINCINNATI. IT IS NICE TO GO INTO THE FIRST FULL WEEKEND OF JUNE WITH A START LIKE THIS. HOW CANOU Y COMPLAINN O A FRIDAY? NO COMPLAINT? NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL ABOUT THE WEATHER. I MEAN IT REALLY IS GOING TO BE ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR FOR EARLY SUMMER THIS WEEKEND TEMPERATURES RIGHT NOW RESTING COMFORTLYAB FOR MOST OF US RIGHT AROUND THAT 80 DEGREE MARK AROUND THE TRI-AT80ST HAMILTON 81 IN FAIRFIELD, IT’S0 8 IN BELU ASHTON ANDERSON 80 CURRENTLY IN COLERAIN AND YOU KNOW WHAT WE GET THE ADDED BENEFIT RIGHT OF NO HUMIDITY OUT THERE. SO IT REALLY FEELS GREAT AND IT’S GOING TO STAY FEELING TTHA WAY RIGHT THROUGH THE DURATION OF THE WEEKEND. WE’RE GONNA KEEP THE HUMIDITY LEVELS IN CHECK AND WE’RE GOING TO KEEP IT RAIN FREE AND TTHA MEANS LOTS OF SUNSHINE,UT B MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THAT SUNSCREEN IF YOU’RE SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS THIS WEEKEND, WEEKEND, AND I KNOW YOU WILL. WITH THIS TYPE OF WEATHER. HERE’S YOUR HOUR BY HOURN O A FRIDAY NIGHT. NOT BAD AT ALL TEMPERATURES WILL BE INHE T 70S THROUGH ABOUT NINE O’CLOCK AND THEN YOU KNOW WITH ETH AIR COMFORTABLY DRY. IT DOESN’T ALLOW IT TO COOL OFF A LITTLE BIT MORE EFFICIENTLY. NIGHT, SO WE’LL TUMBLE INTO THE 60S AND EVENTUALLY MAYBE A LITTLE COOL LATE. JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND AFTER MIDNIGHT. WE'L’ GET DOWN INTO THE 50S. SO COMFORT FORECAST THROUGHHE T IS PLEASANT AROUND HERE. HUMIDITY LEVELS WLIL SURGE EARLY XTNE WEEK THAT’S ON MONDAY AND THAT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED WITH THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS BY THEN. BUT FOR NOW THOUGH, LOO AKT THIS, WE’VE SCOURED OUT ALL THE MUGGY AIR ACROSS THE OHIO AND TENNESSEE RIVER VALLEYS. REMEMBER THOSE DEW POINTS IN THE 60S AND 70S. THEY ARE NO MORE SO VERY COMFORTABLE THERE HAS SETTLED IN THAT KEEPS A C OAPN THE ATM. HEARING YOU KNOW, WHAT FUTURE CAST IS QUIET ASIDE FMRO A FEW PASSING CLOUDS VERY LITTLE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS WEEKEND AROUND THE AREA. SO YOU WANT TO GET THE CAR WASHED YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT DOING A LITTLE STAINING ON THE DECK IF YOU’VE GOT HOUSE CHORES GOING ON MAYBE GETTING OUT ON ONE OF THE RIVERS OR LAKES. NICE LOOKING WEEKEND. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE DISTUEDRB BY SHOWERS AND STORMS OR CAMPING OUT THERE. YOU DON’T HAVE TO WORRY AUTBO ANY TYPE OF WEATHER THE TROPICS THOUGH ARE BUSY. WE ARE STILL TRACKING. WHAT’S A SLOWLY ORGAN? THING ORT A LEAST ATTEMPTING TO SO ALEX DOWN HERE IN THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO. THE CENTER OF CIRCULATION IS STILLRE PTTY DISPLACED FROM THE CORE OF SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY. SO THE SYSMSTE UNDER A LOT OF WIND SHEAR. BASICALLY, WE’VE GOT WEST SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS RIPPING THE STORM APART. SO IT’S REALLY STRUGGLING TO ORGANIZE BUT I THINK THE IMPACTS WHETHER OR NOT IT GAINS A NAME OFFICIALLY THIS WEEKEND IS THE SAME YOU CAN ALREADY SEE ALL THESE BRIGHT COLORS. IN SHOWERS AND STORMS ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA. SO FROM ANYWHEER FROM THE THEME PARKS SOUTH THIS WEEKEND IS ALL WASHED DOWN THERE AND FLORIDA IF YOU’REEA HDING THAT WAY FOR VACATION JUST SAY FOR EMPXALE AROUND HERE THOUGH. OUR WEATHER IS A VACATION 56 TONIGHT A LITTLE COOLUT O LATE FANTASTIC TOMORROW SUNNY AND 81. HERE’S YOUR DAY PLANNER STARTING OUT INHE T 50S AND THEN RISING INTO THE LOW 80S YOU’RE SEVEN DAY FORECAS ITS SHAKING OUT LIKE THIS THE NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN ON MONDAY TT NEXT WEATHER IMPACT DAY SUNDAY WILL FEEL A LITTLE BIT WARMER ARODUN HERE, BUT STILL NOT BAD. I CALL IT A POOL DAY 85 AND SUNNY SKIES. AND AGAIN YOUR RAIN ON MONDAY AND THEN SOME QUIET WEATHER FOR THEID MDL

											THIS MUCH DAMAGE IN A LGON TIME FROM A STORM LIKE THIS. &gt;&gt; IT WAS CERTAINLY NASTY OUT THEER TODAY AND PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE SPENDING THE NEXT FEW DAYS CLEANING UP, MANY AROUND GREATER CINCINNATI. &gt;&gt; IT’S EASY TO GET THAT KIND OF DAMAGE WHEN UYO HAVE HURRICANE FORCE WIND GUSTS, OR CLOSE TO IT. IT IS ONE THING WHAT HAPPENS IN THE MIDDLE OF AWARE SO TO SPEAK, AND YOU JUST DON’T HAVE QUITE THE CONCENTRATION. THE AIRPORT WITH 70 MILE-PER-HOUR WIND GUSTS, NEAR HEBRON 72 MILE AN HOUR WIND GUSTS, VERY STRONG WINDS HURRICANE FORCE WINDUS GTS ACROSS NORTHERN KENTUCKY EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. MUCH QUIETER SCENARIO AND HE WILL MAKE UP -- WAKE UP TO A MUCH WIDER START ON YOUR THURSDAY. TOMORROW MORNING, IT SHOULD BE DRY FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE. MAYBE IF YOU CLOUD STILL LINGERING AROUND BUT IT WILL ELFE NICER AND A LOT LESS HUMID. THEN TOMORROW AFTERNOON LOOKS NICE, IT WILL FEEL GREAT. HIGHS ONLY THE MID TO UERPP 70’S WITH A BIG DROP IN HUMIDITY, THAT IS THE MOST NOTIABCELE CHANGE COMING OUR WAY. AND THEN LOOKING MIGHTY FINE TOMORROW NIGHT, IT WILBEL A GREAT NIGHT TO BE OUT OR FOR BASEBALL AS WELL, TINHE LOW 70’S. THERE IS A LOOK AT RADAR, THE SHOWERS AND STORMS FMRO EARLIER ARE ALL GONE. WE ARE LOOKING GOOD THE REST OF TONIGHT. HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING MOVING FORWARD, BASICALLY, REMEMBER THOSE DEW POINTS? ALWAYS A GOOD MEASURE OF HOW COMFORTABLITE IS, THOSE ARE IN THE 50’S, IT IS VERY REFRESHING. DRIER AIR MAKING A MORE SUBSTANTIAL PUSH TOWARDS THE OHIO RIVER TONIGHT. BY THE TIME YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING, I THINK THOSEEW D POINTS ARE IN THE 50’S ALL THE WAY DOWN INTO KENTUCKY. SO, WE ARE GOING TO BRING IN MUCH LESS HUMID AIR OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.D AIR OVER THE AND IT’S ALREADY UNDERWAY TONIT,GH IES WT WIND AT 14, THOSE DEW POINTS ARE DROPPING. LOOK AT THAT RAINFALL TODAY. ONLY 6/10 OFFICIALLY AT THE AIRPORT,UT B I AM MORE THAN CERTAIN SOME OF YOU PICKED UP MORE THAN THAT TODAY. TEMPERATURES AROUND THE AREA FROM 64 IN CONNERSVIELL TO 69 IN HAMILTON AND HERE IN CINCINNATI. 68 BATAVIA AND 67 AROUND BROOKSVILLE. OVER THE NEXT 12 HOURS WE WILL SPEND THE MAJORITY OF THE NIGHT IN THE 60’S, THEN WE BRIEFLY GET DOWN TO THE UPPER 50’S BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP IN THE MORNG.IN TOMORROW SHOULD BE A LESS HUMID AFTERNOON. IT’S QUIET THROUGH THE REST OF THE NIGHT, WE WILL SEE SOME CLOUDS TRYING TO MOVE IN BEFORE THE N SUCOSME UP, THOSE SHOULD EVENTUALLY BURN OFF, LEAVING A PRETTY NEIC AFTERNOON AND A NICE-LOOKING EVENING FOR THE THURSDAY. AS WE GET TO THURSDAY NIGHT, IT IS QUIET. AND IT IS QUITE WHEN YOU WAKE UP ON FRIDAY MORNING. HOWEVER I FOR BY FRIDAY EVENING, THE CHCEAN FOR RAIN RETURNS. THIS WILL BE THUNRSDETORM ACTIVITY, IN FACT, I THINK MOST OF THIS SHOULD BE RELATIVELY LIGHT. ON FRIDAY EVENING AND FRIDAY NIGHT. BUT IT DOES LOOAK LTLITE DAMP TO MAYBE JUST FLAT OUT WET EVEN FOR YOUR FRIDAY EVENING AND OVERNIGHT FRIDAY. THEN BY SATURDAY MORNING IT STARTS GLOOMY, BUT WE SHLDOU WORK OUR WAY SOME PRETTY NICE IMPROVEMENTS, WH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES BY THE TIME WE GET INTO SATURDAY AFTERNOON. NOW ENJOY THE REST BUT -- RE SPITE FROM THE HUMIDITY AND THE HEAT, WE HAVE WHAT COULD BE OUR HOW TO STRETCH OF WEATHER SO FAR THIS SEASON COMING IN HERE NEXT WEEK. HOW THAT PLAYS OUT STILL A LITTLE UP IN THE AIR, BUT I SEE 90’S ARE ON THE TAB,LE AND IT MAY BE HOTTER THAN THAT. SO WE WILL SEE. 59 AND COOLER THE REST OF THE NIGHT. TOMOOWRR PARTLY CLOUDY AND, 76. THERE IS A LOOK AT JORDAN PLANNER. SOME CLOUDS TO START THE DAY, BUT OVERALL IT SHOULD BE A NICE ONE. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST. I DID NOT MAKE FRIDAY A WEATHER IMPACT DAY SINCE THE RAIN DOES NOT LOOK HEAVY AND WE ARE NOT TALKGIN THUNDERSTORMS, 73. SATURDAY, 77 IS NICE. BUT THEN WE’D REALLY CRANK UP THE HEAT IN A HURRY. SUAYND INTO THE MID-80’S, BY EARLY NEXT WEEK WE COULD BE IN THE LOW TO MID 90’S. BASED OFF WHAT WE ARE SEEING, SOME OF THE NUMBERS I HAVE FOR THE SEVEN DAY ARE ON THE MORE CONSERVATIVE, MEANING IT COULD BE EVEN HIGHER. SO BRACE YOURSELVES, GET THOSE POOLS READY FOR NEXT WEEK.

											AND NOON TO 9:00 TOMORROW. &gt;&gt; I LOVE CAN OLI. &gt;&gt; WITH COFFEE AND AT 5:00 IN THE MORNG.IN &gt;&gt; WHAT STORES WOULD BE OPEN RIGHT NOW. &gt;&gt; I LOVE THE IT LAN FOOD. LET TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER BECAUSE TODAY IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BEHE T BEST OF THE TWO DSAY TO GO TO ITALIAN FEST IF YOU ARE WANTING TO HEAD OUT. &gt;&gt; WATCHOR F STORMS TOMORROW. BUT TIMES OF DRY SKIES AS WE START OUT YOUR SUNDAY TOMORROW. MOST OF TODAY WILL BE NICE AND QUIET. WE HAVE AREAS OF PATCHY FOG THIS MORNING, A FEW BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS AS WE START OUT THE DAY. MOST OF US WILL BERE PTTY QUIET AS WE GO THROUGH THE DURATION OF YOUR SATURDAY. A COUPLEF O SHOWERS STREAMING THROUGH FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST. A DISTURBANCE COMING THRGHOU THE AREA TSHI MORNING. WE HAVE SEVERAL THROUGH THE NEXT WFE DAYS. A COUPLE ISOLATED SHOWERS BETWEEN THE 71-75 SPLIT. AND SEEING LIGHT SHOWERS TO BEGIN OUR SATURDAY. TODAY WE'RE LOOKING AT A HIGH OF 78. CLOUDS AND SUNSHINE, WE'LL SEE MORE SUNSHINE FOR THE FIRST PART AND CLOUDS THICKEN BACK UP AGAIN ALONG WITH STRAY SHOWER CHANCES AS YOU HEAD INTO THIS AFTERNOON. A BIT WARRME TODAY TOO. TEMPERATURES AGAIN NEAR 80. TONIGHT MID S,60 RUMBLES OF SHOWERS AND OVERALL WARM AND MUGGY. I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT TODAY LOOKS LIKE. YOU CAN SEE SPOTTY SHORSWE HEADING TOWARDS 9:00 AND SOUTH AND WEST. THERE'S SOME BREAKS. AND THEN A FEW MORE CLOUDS REDEVELOPING LATER THIS AFTERNOON WITH SPOTTY SHOWERS. SO WE'RE GOING TO SEE THOSE BETWEEN 3:00 AND 6:00. FEW DAN FAR BETWEEN BUT AFTER SUNSET AND INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS YOU'RE LOOKING AT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS, MAYBE SOME RUMBLES OF THUNDER AS YOU GO PAST MIDNIGHT, 5:00 IN THE MORNING TOMORR.OW SEEING SOME GOOD POCKETS OF SHOWERS AND STORMS. WE'LL HAVE A RELATIVELY DRY WINDOW FOR SOME MORETORPS S POP UP INTO TOMORROW AFTERNOON. WEATHER IMPACT DAY FOR TOMORROW TEMPERATURES INTO THE HIGH 80S. HUMIDITY INCREASES TOMORROW AS WELL. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR STRONRGE STORMS TOMORROW. WE'LL HAVE TO WATCH THAT AS IT SHAPES UP BUT POTENTIAL IS THERE FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON FOR AT LEAST A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. SO FUTURE CAST FOR TOMORROW MORNING SHOWING US HIT AND MISS SHOWERS TO START OUT THE DAY. TIMES OF SUNSHINE I THINK A FEW STORMS REDEVELOPING AS YOU HEAD PAST 2:00, 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON THERE'S AEW F OF THOSE THAT AGAIN COULD BE STRONG AS YOU HEAD TOWARDS THE EVENING HOS.UR WE'LL SEE HOW IT DEVELOPS SUNDAY INTO MONDAY SOME MODSEL ARE DRY SOME BRINGG AIN FEW STORMS IN BUT THE POTENTIAL IS THERE FOR AT LSTEA A FEW MORE STORMS SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. SO WE'LL HAVE TOATCH W THAT CLOSELY THAT COULD ALWAYS CHANGE AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE NEXT 24 HO URS BUT MORE OF A SRYTO LOOKING VERY ACTIVE AS WE HEAD INTO THE EARLY PART OF THE WEEK. FOR MONDAY TOO, MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENGNI AN OPPORTUNITY FOR STORMS. I THINK STORMS COULD BE STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS. TUESY,DA WEDNESDAY, IT'S GOING BTOE DRY. THAT IS THANKS TO THE HEAT TTHA WE'RE GOING TO BE EXPERIENCING. D MI90S FOR HIGHS. IT WILL FEEL LIKE OVER

											HOUSE. SUCH A SAD HERE LEADING INTO KEVIN. OH, I LOVE THE DEAD DRAGON OUT THERE AS IT’S AROUND FOR A LONG, LONG TIME. CHEAP METEOROLOGIST KEVIN ROBINSON JOINING US NOW, A SUNSHINE OUT TODAY. A CHANGES, THOUGH, PERHAPS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS, RIGHT? YEAH, WE’RE GOING TO SEE A CHANGE IN HUMIDITY. SO IT’S GOING TO GO BACK UP AND THEN EVENTUALLY TO THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS RETURNING TO THE AREA AS WELL. WE STILL NEED MORE RAIN AROUND HERE. BELIEVE IT OR NOT. HERE’S A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE RIGHT. IT’S A WARM YOU KNOW, EVENING ACROSS THE TRI. IT IS EARLY TO MID JULY, SO WE’VE GOT THE HIGH SUN ANGLE AND SOME PRETTY WARM TEMPERATURES OUT THERE THIS AFTERNOON. BUT IT’S ALL MANAGEABLE BECAUSE THE HUMIDITY REMAINS RELATIVELY LOW. WE’RE AT 85 DEGREES RIGHT NOW. NOTICE THERE’S NOT A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ACTUAL FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURE AND THE TEMPERATURE BECAUSE OUR DEW AND HUMIDITY ARE RELATIVELY LOW. SO WHEN YOU FACTOR THAT IN WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE OUT THERE, IT ACTUALLY FEELS PRETTY NICE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE IN THE SHADE. TEMPERATURES ALL AROUND THE TRI STATE ARE GENERALLY IN THE MID EIGHTIES FROM SALES AT 85 OVER TO 87. IN PEEBLES AND MAYSVILLE. ALSO AGAIN, COMFORTABLY WARM THINK WOULD BE THE RULE FOR NOW. SO WHERE ARE WE ON THE MUGGY SCALE? WE ARE IN THE TOLERABLE RANGE, BUT AS WE GO TOWARDS THE END THE WEEK ESPECIALLY PROBABLY LATE TOMORROW NIGHT AND THEN THURSDAY WE’RE GOING TO START INCHING OUR WAY HERE MORE TOWARDS THAT MUGGY FEEL, IF NOT EVEN GETTING TOWARDS TROPICAL. EVENTUALLY THAT WILL LEND ITSELF TO BETTER SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES AS WELL. FOR NOW, THOUGH, JUST A WARM, DRY DAY. NOTICE STORMS UP ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES. THIS IS AN ASSOCIATION WITH A FRONT THAT EVENTUALLY WILL SAG TOWARDS THE RIVER, ESPECIALLY AS WE GET INTO THE DAY ON THURSDAY, I THINK EARLY THURSDAY, PROBABLY SHOWERS AND STORMS OUT THERE. SO IT’S NICE DRY RAIN FREE THIS EVENING. OUR DEW POINTS ARE ONLY IN THE SIXTIES, SO IT’S GOING TO BE A VERY NICE. PULL OUT THE GRILL. MAYBE IF YOU WANT TO HANG OUT AROUND THE POOL, FIND THE ANYTHING OUTDOORS. YOU GOT TO GET THAT LAWN MOWED. IT SHOULD BE NICE. WE’LL GET DOWN EVENTUALLY INTO SIXTIES BY MORNING. SO NO RAIN IN HERE TOMORROW I’M GOING TO HOLD BACK THE RAIN FOR WEDNESDAY. I’M GOING TO KEEP IT IN HERE ON. THURSDAY, I THINK THURSDAY. WE’VE GOT MEDIUM IMPACT AND THEN WE’LL SHOULD SQUEEZE IN A DRY FRIDAY BEFORE I THINK WE HAVE ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND STORMS ON SATURDAY. SO HERE’S CAST. YOU CAN SEE SKIES MOSTLY CLEAR TONIGHT. PLENTY OF HOT SUNSHINE ANTICIPATED FOR TOMORROW AROUND THE AREA. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP IT DRY. DID YOU SEE THAT CLUSTER OF STORMS THAT DROVE TO OUR WEST? I’LL KEEP AN EYE ON THAT, BUT FOR NOW, I’M GOING TO KEEP YOUR WEDNESDAY DRY. AND I THINK AS WE GO INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT, THURSDAY MORNING, SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM, CHANCES WILL GO UP, ESPECIALLY THE FIRST HALF OF YOUR THURSDAY AND THEN WE MAY KEEP A LINGERING STORM THREAT INTO THURSDAY EVENING. BUT I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE EARLY IN THE DAY ON THURSDAY. SHOWERS AND STORMS ROLL THROUGH. BY EARLY I MEAN NEAR OR BEFORE LUNCHTIME, PROBABLY 67 TONIGHT. IT’S COMFORTABLY MILD OR WARM, HOT SUNSHINE TOMORROW. BUT I CALL IT TOLERABLE HUMIDITY. WE’LL BE JUST SHY OF 90. HERE’S LOOK AT YOUR DAY PLANNER STARTING OUT THE MORNING IN THE SIXTIES WILL CLIMB TOWARDS 85 BY LUNCH TIME AND THEN JUST SHORT OF 90 FOR THE AFTERNOON HOURS. YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST WITH SHOWERS AND STORM CHANCES LIKELY IN HERE ON THURSDAY I’M GOING AHEAD AND MADE THURSDAY WEATHER IMPACT DAY AND THEN MORE RAIN CHANCE AS WE START OUR WEEKEND SEVEN. THANKS S

											OUR WLWT MOBILE AND YOU KNOW, WHAT ALL WEEK. HAS BEEN WATCHING THE RADAR CLOSELY FOR US BECAUSE HE KNOWS A LOT OF YOU HAVE WEAKENED PLANS LOOKS LIKE THINGS COULD BE DECENT ON SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. YEAH, YOU KNOW, WE’VE BEEN SAYING ALL WEEK THAT WE’VE GOT THIS LOOMING THREAT FOR SCATTERED DOWNPOURS HIDDEN MISS DOWNPOURS. THEY’RE STILL THERE, BUT AS WE’RE GETTING CLOSER NOW THE PICTURES A LITTLE BIT MORE CLEAR AND WE’RE ABLE TO IDENTIFY A PERIOD OF TIME THAT APPEARS TO BE A LITTLE BIT DRIER THAN OTHER TIMES FOR EXAMPLE CASE IN POINT STARTING TOMORROW AFTERNOON THROUGH THOROUGHLY ON INDEPENDENCE DAY THERE IS A WINDOW THERE IN WHICH I THINK IT’S MOSTLY DRY. SO YOUR FIREWORKS ARE GOOD TOMORROW NIGHT. YOUR FIREWORKS ARE GOOD SUNDAY NIGHT MONDAY NIGHT THOUGH. THAT’S WHERE WE START TO GET QUESTION MARKS AGAIN AND I’LL BREAK THAT DOWN HERE AND JUST A MOMENT, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT TODAY’S FORECAST PERFECTLY FITS THE DEFINITION OF SCATTERED OR HIT AND MISS WITH THE RAIN BECAUSE IT JUST ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR LOCATION AROUND THE AREA NOW THINGS ARE RELATIVELY QUIET AND AROUND 75 LOOP, NOT MUCH RAIN THIS EVENING THERE HAVE BEEN SOME DOWNPOURS TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF CINCINNATI. YOU CAN STILL SEE SOME OF THEM POPPING UP HERE THROUGH PARTS OF BROWN AND TO ADAMS COUNTY’S FROM PEEBLES OVER TOWARDS JUST THE EAST OF GEORGETOWN AND I THINK THIS CONTINUES THROUGH THE NIGHT TONIGHT. SO WHILE IT MAY BE QUIET AT THE MOMENT DON’T BE SURPRISED IF ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU HEAR THE PITTER PATTER OF RAIN ON YOUR WINDOW SEAL OUT OF NOWHERE BECAUSE THAT’S JUST THE NATURE OF THE WAY THESE DOWNPOURS ARE FLARING UP IN FACT RIGHT AROUND SUNSET. WE HAD A PRETTY HEALTHY LINE OF STORMS. IF YOU’RE UP IN MIDDLETOWN YOU WERE DRENCHED IF YOU WERE DOWN IN HAMILTON OR FAIRFIELD YOU’RE LIKE WHAT RAIN YOU SAW THE DARK SKIES, BUT YOU NEVER DID GET THE RAIN AND THAT’S KIND OF THE WAY IT PLAYS OUT WITH HIT AND MISS DOWNPOURS. SO BACK TO THE SPECIFICS HERE. WE HAVE A DECENT CHANCE FOR HIT AND MISS DOWNPOURS THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF YOUR SATURDAY BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND THEN GOING THROUGH SUNDAY AND INTO EARLY ON THE FOURTH. I THINK IT’S RELATIVELY DRY FOR MOST OF US THAT SAID, HERE IN SOUTH OF THE RIVER THERE WILL STILL BE THE CHANCE FOR A COUPLE OF DOWNPOURS. SO HERE’S KIND OF YOUR HOLIDAY WEEKEND FORECAST MORNING RAIN ON SATURDAY AND THEN HOT SUNSHINE BY AFTERNOON AND BECAUSE THIS FRONT MAY PUSH JUST FAR ENOUGH SOUTH OF US, WE MAY EVEN GET IN ON SUNDAY IF WE’RE LUCKY A LITTLE DIP IN THE HUMIDITY. IT MAY NOT BE REFRESHING LIKE IT WAS EARLIER IN THE WEEK, BUT NOT AS BAD AS IT IS CURRENTLY. WARM SUNSHINE ON SUNDAY AND THEN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY WE’LL NEED TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THUNDERSTORM COMPLEXES LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. I THINK MONDAY COULD BRING US SOME NASTIER WEATHER ESPECIALLY LATE. SO WE’VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS FRONT STALLING OUT OVER THE REGION AND IT JUST DEPENDS ON EXACTLY THE PROXIMITY TO US AND IT APPEARS AT LEAST SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY ON THE 4TH. THIS FRONT PUSHES FAR ENOUGH SOUTH INTO KENTUCKY THAT IT GIVES US AT LEAST A LITTLE WINDOW OR LARGER WINDOW. A DRYER WEATHER CONDITIONS NOW IT IS SOUPY OUTSIDE TONIGHT DEW POINTS IN THE UPPER 60S TO RIGHT AROUND 70 DEGREES SO STEAMY TONIGHT STILL HUMID ON YOUR SATURDAY, BUT SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY AGAIN, WE MAY GET A LITTLE NUDGE OF DRIER AIR IN HERE TO MAKE IT FEEL A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE BEFORE IT TURNS HOT AND STEAMY AGAIN ON INDEPENDENCE DAY. HERE’S FUTURECAST NOTICE AS WE GO THROUGH THE NIGHT. YOU SEE HOW THOSE DOWNPOURS KIND OF BLOW UP OUT OF NOWHERE AND THEN THEY AWAY, THAT KEEPS HAPPENING THROUGH LUNCHTIME ON SATURDAY AFTER LUNCHTIME NOTICE HOW I GET PRETTY QUIET ACROSS THE AREA BUT IN OUR SOUTH KEEP A LOOK OUT, THERE STILL CAN BE A FEW PASSING DOWNPOURS AND AS FAR NORTH AS THE OHIO RIVER, EVEN THERE’S THE CHANCE FOR A LITTLE BIT OF SPRINKLE OR SPOTTY RAIN ACTION, BUT I THINK OVERALL IT’S PRETTY DRY SATURDAY EVENING AFTERNOON THROUGH AT LEAST EARLY ON MONDAY. IT’S NOT TO SAY IT WILL BE DRY FOR EVERYONE. SO 79 OUTSIDE AT THE MOMENT TEMPERATURES GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 70S TO RIDE AROUND 80. IT’S GOING TO BE A WARM NIGHT WITH THE HIGH LEVELS OF HUMIDITY ONLY DOWN TO 71 BY MORNING AGAIN. DON’T BE SURPRISED. YOU HEAR SOME RAIN OR YOU HEAR A RUMBLE OF THUNDER OVERNIGHT BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN ON YOUR SATURDAY IS THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY AND THEN IT’S DRY AND HOT FOR THE AFTERNOON. YOU’RE SEVEN DAY FORECAST. MIKE AND SHRI SHAKING OUT LIKE THIS AGAIN THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE AGAIN LATE ON THE FOURTH OF JULY AND THEN WE’RE KIND OF IN THAT HIT AND MISS STORM PATTERN. FOR MOST OF NEXT WEEK RIGH

											THERE VIA APPLE PAY. WILD ISN’T THAT WILD WE WERE TALKING ABOUT THIS EARLIER. YEAH, AND I MEAN, OF COURSE I WOULD GIVE UP MY SEAT. OH, I WOULD LOSE. PICK ME. YEAH. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GOTTA NEGOTIATE WITH THEM. YES, BECAUSE LEGALLY IN THEIR CONTRACT IT SAYS IF THEY OVERBOOK ONE OF THEIR FLIGHTS THEY HAVE TO PAY YOU AT LEAST FOUR TIMES A ONE-WAY FARE. YEAH, BUT SO MANY PEOPLE WERE SAYING NO, I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THAT FOUR TIMES IN MAL, WHICH IS SO INTERESTING. THEY JUST HAVE TO KEEP RAISING THE BAR. YEAH. I KNOW WHICH WHICH MAKES YOU REALIZE I THINK PEOPLE REALLY VALUE THEIR VACATION. YEAH FREE TIME. YEAH, THAT’S A GREAT POINT. YES, AND YOU KNOW WHAT? LET’S SAY YOU’RE VACATIONING HERE IN CINCINNATI. WELL, WELCOME WELCOME. YOU YEAH, A LITTLE HUMID. WE’VE GOT NICER WEATHER MOVING IN THOUGH FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE DAY AT LEAST IN THE WAY HUMIDITY. YEAH, WHICH IS GOOD. WE MAY SEE A COUPLE OF STRAY POP UP SHOWERS AND STORMS BUT A GOOD CHUNK OF THIS DAY WILL BE DRY, WHICH IS GREAT NEWS IF FOURTH OF JULY PLANS TODAY. I KNOW WE ALL LIKE THE WEATHER TO COOPERATE AND I THINK THAT’LL BE THE CASE FOR MOST SOUTH DEARBORN YOU WERE SEEING THOSE STORMS THIS MORNING. THAT IS NOT THE CASE RIGHT NOW ARE STILL UNDER THE SUNSHINE SOME CLOUDS OUT THAT WAY AND IT LOOKS LIKE A PAVEMENTS DRIED OUT TOO. SO THINGS LOOKING A LITTLE BIT BETTER AT YOUR WAY. AT OUR LIVE RADAR SHOWING DRY SKIES FOR EVERYBODY. WE STILL HAVE SOME CLOUDS A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER SO STATIONARY FRONT SETTLED OUT THAT WAY WHICH I’LL SHOW YOU HERE IN A SECOND THAT WILL KEEP THE CLOUDS AN OPPORTUNITIES FOR A FEW SHOWERS AROUND HERE AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MOST OF WHAT’S BEEN COMING ALONG THIS FRONT TO THE WEST THAT’S FALLEN APART CAN’T ROLL OUT A COUPLE OF SPRINKLES, BUT AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE AFTERNOON THE HEAT OF THE DAY THIS FRONT HERE IS ESSENTIALLY GOING TO WORK AS A RAILROAD TRACK FOR THE SHOWERS. THEY’RE JUST GONNA FOLLOW THAT FRONT. SO I WOULD SAY THE BEST CHANCE OF SEEING SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS A FEW STORMS. TODAY WOULD BE A LONG AND SOUTH OF THAT FRONT AND WHAT’S WE’RE GOING TO SEE HERE ALONG IN SOUTH OF THE FRONT TOO IS MORE HUMID AIR. IT’S PRETTY STICKY IN CINCINNATI AND POINTS SOUTH OF THAT BUT NOTICE SOME DRIER AIR FILTERING IN FROM THE NORTH HERE. SO LESS HUMAN CONDITIONS. I DON’T THINK EVERYBODY SEES THIS TODAY, BUT IF YOU LIVE NORTH OF CINCINNATI NORTHWEST YOU WILL NOTICE A DROP IN THE HUMIDITY HERE IS WE HEAD THROUGH TODAY, WHICH IS GOING TO BE FANTASTIC IF YOU’RE OUTSIDE AT ALL THIS EVENING I THINK IN COMFORTABLE DAY WE DO GET PRETTY WARM THIS AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RIGHT AROUND 87 DEGREES SO A BIT HOT IN SOME AREAS AND CERTAINLY FEELING HOW WE’RE SEEING MORE HUMIDITY AND THEN FOR TONIGHT ABOUT 70 NOT QUITE AS STICKY AS THE LAST COUPLE OF NIGHTS AND OVERALL, MOSTLY CLOUDY AND DRY. SKIES WILL BE AN ABUNDANCE HERE. SO AS WE PROGRESS THROUGH YOUR SATURDAY NOTICE A COUPLE OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR HIT AND MISS SHOWER TOO. I WOULD SAY MORE SPRINKLES AT THIS POINT, BUT IT’S AFTER THREE O’CLOCK THAT WE’RE REALLY LOOKING AT MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR A COUPLE OF HIT AND MISS SHOWERS, MAYBE. FULL OF THUNDER BUT NOTICE HOW THEY JUST SET UP RIGHT ALONG IN SOUTH OF THAT FRONT. THEY’RE GOING TO BE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN SO A LOT OF US ARE GOING TO BE NICE AND DRY ACTUALLY THINK WE SEE SOME SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON, SO THAT’LL HELP US HEAT UP. AND THEN HERE WE ARE AT ABOUT 9 9 30 MOST FIREWORKS DISPLAYS GET STARTED NICE AND QUIET. SO THAT’S SOME GOOD NEWS THERE. I THINK A LITTLE BIT OF CLOUD COVER. WE’RE GONNA BE LOOKING AT THOSE CLOUDS TO STAY WITH US FOR GOOD CHUNK OF TONIGHT. I THINK SEEING SOME SUNSHINE FOR THE FIRST HALF OF TOMORROW TEMPERATURES RIGHT AROUND 89 SO SLIGHTLY WARMER THAN TODAY AND NOT QUITE AS HUMID. I THINK THE HUMIDITY REALLY HOLDING OFF UNTIL THE EARLY WEEK SO IT GETS A LITTLE BIT STICKIER FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY. I THINK WE WILL SEE SOME SCATTERED STORMS. THAT DAY TEMPS WILL WILL BE IN THE 90S WEATHER IMPACTING. TUESDAY WITH SOME VERY LIKELY STORMS AND THEN JUST A FEW OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE MIDWEEK AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE PICK UP THOSE CHANCES AGAIN FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY HEATS THE STORY THIS WEEK UNSETTLED WEATHERS THE STORY THIS WEEK, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT MEGAN IT’S NOT GONNA BE A WASHOUT WEEK. THAT’S WHAT I’M
