One of the original judges on NBC's "The Voice" has announced that he'll be exiting the show after next season. Blake Shelton made the announcement on his official Twitter page Tuesday. "This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me," his statement said. Al Roker suffered a setback after being treated for blood clots. The "Today" weather forecaster is now back in the hospital.

"He’s resting and his doctors are keeping a close eye on him. Al and his family want everyone to know how grateful they are for all the love, the support and the well wishes," said Hoda Kotb, host of NBC's "Today."

Roker noted on Instagram last week that some of the blood clots traveled to his lungs.

"After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery," Roker said.

Roker was noticeably absent from the Rockefeller Center tree lighting Wednesday night. It's an event he usually helps host.

Roker also missed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He posted on Instagram that he had just been released from the hospital and watched the parade from home.

Roker has been a weather forecaster on "Today" since 1996.

Betty White had a message for her fans that were ready to celebrate her 100th birthday.

“I just want to thank you all for your love and support over the years,” White said in a video message that was posted on social media Friday. “Thank you so much and stick around.”

The caption accompanying the video said the message was supposed to go out on social media on her birthday, Jan. 17.

White died on December 31, 2021.

"She was using the occasion of her 100th birthday to celebrate YOU – her fans," the post says.

The post also references the viral "Betty White Challenge," which has led to millions of dollars being donated to animal shelters all over the world.

“She could never have imagined such an outpouring of love and would have be [sic] so grateful to everyone," the post says.

The legendary "dun, dun" sound made famous by the original "Law & Order" is coming back.

On Tuesday, Wolf Entertainment announced that the beloved show that ended abruptly 11 years ago is being brought back by NBC for its 21st season.

The mothership series will continue where it ended in 2010 in the same format and will once again examine “the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, before the show was canceled, "Law & Order" was a season away from breaking "Gunsmoke‘s" 20-season record as TV’s longest-running primetime drama series.

Wolf would wind up doing that with "Law & Order: SVU" a few years ago, THR reported.

Show creator Dick Wolf will executive produce, and he'll be joined by writer-showrunner Rick Eid, Arthur Forney and Peter Jankowski.

"There are very few things in life that are literally dreams come true," Wolf said in a statement. "This is mine."

Although no cast announcements have been made yet, fans could expect feature beloved characters from the original series to return, including Sam Waterston, S. Epatha Merkerson and Leslie Hendrix.

A series of tornadoes hatched by early spring “super cell” storms tore across Alabama and moved into Georgia, causing five deaths and leaving wrecked homes, splintered trees, crumpled businesses.There were more than a dozen tornado reports across Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi on Thursday. Chainsaws buzzed through fallen trees, stunned residents dug in the rubble that had been their homes, and neighbors rushed in to help on Friday.The National Weather Service office in Birmingham, Alabama, initially issued a "tornado emergency" for areas just south and east of the city, in Shelby and Jefferson counties, indicating there is a tornado that could have a potentially significant impact to human life and catastrophic destruction to property.The coroner in Calhoun County, Alabama, confirmed the deaths of five people who were killed in a tornado Thursday afternoon.According to Coroner Pat Brown, four of the victims lived in Ohatchee and included a family of three who were in a wooden home and a man who was in a mobile home. A fifth person was killed in a mobile home in Wellington. Brown identified them Friday as Joe Wayne Harris, 74; Barbara Harris, 69; Ebonique Harris, 28; Emily Myra Wilborn, 72; and James William Geno, 72, Al.com reported.In Pelham, Cesar Villaseñor, 22, was in a van with his boss when they were caught in a potential tornado. They were trying to get to shelter at his boss' house, Villaseñor said."We were literally half a mile from his house and everything was all clear.
