(LEX 18) — Get a bite out of this... you can now get your hands on a Big Mac and a Krispy Kreme doughnut in one location (for a limited time).

McDonald's will sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts at approximately 160 locations across Lexington, Louisville, and the surrounding area.

The locations will serve three different Krispy Kreme doughnuts: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Chocolate Ice Kreme Filled.

Krispy Kreme says this is an expansion of an initial test with the doughnut chain that began last October. This next step will assess customer demand and to understand how a larger-scale launch would affect restaurant operations.

It’s about to be a winter wonderland at Krispy Kreme! As we look forward to (or dread) the colder months ahead, the donut chain is welcoming the change with the new Let It Snow collection. Prepare for penguins, snowmen and more!The collection includes five donuts — three new ones, the Poppy Penguin, Snowman Smile and Snowy Sprinkle donuts — and two that you may recognize from seasons past, the Santa Belly and Chocolate Iced with Holiday Sprinkles. The limited-edition treats will be waiting for you until around Christmastime.“There’s nothing like the season’s first snow to say the holiday season is here!” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “This year, we’re tapping into the anticipating of wintry, holiday fun with our snowy holiday collection.”The wintery donuts aren’t the only thing to get excited about. Krispy Kreme is giving away a free Original Glazed Doughnut and free small brewed coffee on Black Friday. Just hit up the shop or drive-thru and you’ll be ready to power through all that deal shopping!

Krispy Kreme wants you to ring in 2021 in a sweet way so they are offering "Four Days of Glaze."

From now until Jan. 3, you can get two dozen doughnuts for $12 and the offer is available via pickup, drive-thru, and at any participating location across the U.S.

"Making the start of 2021 a little sweeter as we continue to share the joy (and dozens!) with loved ones while looking toward a brighter year," Krispy Kreme said in a press release.

Krispy Kreme said customers could purchase up to two per day.
