Multiple agencies are responding to a shooting in Red River, New Mexico, at a motorcycle rally on Saturday.The mayor of Red River told sister station KOAT that there are multiple victims in the shooting. However, it is unknown exactly how many victims there are, and their conditions.Information about a suspect has not been released by authorities.New Mexico State Police are responding to the scene and are expected to give an update shortly. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Seven students were transported to the hospital after a school bus got into a rollover crash, Albuquerque police said Wednesday.

A spokesperson with Albuquerque Public Schools said 23 students were aboard the school bus when a white Mustang hit its rear tire, causing the bus to tip over. The driver of the Mustang was transported, officials said at a briefing.

The Albuquerque Police Department said the crash happened around 4 p.m. at Messina Drive Southwest and Gibson Boulevard.

All crash victims are expected to survive their injuries, police said.

A police spokesperson told sister station KOAT that the school bus was from George I. Sanchez Collaborative Community School.

Police said an Albuquerque Public Schools principal responsible for those students called parents and asked them to meet just west of Messina and Gibson to pick up their child.

"We’re keeping the kids who went through this scary incident and their families in our prayers and are grateful that there are no life-threatening injuries at this time. Thank you to the first responders who acted swiftly to make sure the kids were safe and got the help they needed, preventing this from turning into a worse situation," said Mayor Tim Keller.

Presbyterian Hospitals confirmed that a few patients from the crash were checked in but they could not confirm how many. Lovelace Hospitals said it received patients as well.

The chile season in New Mexico has not been easy this year. In August, chile farmers were worried about entire crops going to waste because of worker shortages.

Glen Duggins of Five Star Chili Farmer said he did not expect the season to end like this.

"I thought it would be a disaster all the way through. So it did turn out a little better than we thought it would," Duggins said.

After asking the governor's office for help, they allocated $5 million to help increase wages.

"It didn't do much for the green chili, but it is helping right now. The money, they are happy — look at them," Duggins said.

As fields of green chiles turned red, it was a race against the clock. If all those chiles didn't get picked, it likely would've gone to waste.

Typically, chiles are sent from southern New Mexico to northern New Mexico, but there are more than 40 workers picking all of this red chile. This all then gets sent to Las Mesa, New Mexico.

The chiles being packed will eventually go all over the nation.

"He took my crop along with his and others. It's going to Seco Spice, they will process and they will grind it," Duggins said. "Do whatever they do with it and this will more than likely wind up in Taco Bell."

Duggins says farmers helping farmers is an example of what the chile community is all about.

"It says that the New Mexico farmers stand by each other. We're going to help each other and we're going to get through this and the whole world wants this chile, not Colorado or Arizona or anywhere — this is what they want. And it's going all over the world," Duggins said.

After a year of ups and downs, Duggins feels proud of his New Mexico chile.

“It makes you feel good. It does give a rush when we see people eating, they are talking about how good the chile is," Duggins said.

SANTA FE, N.M. —

According to a newly released search warrant, detectives are searching an Albuquerque business that supplied ammunition used on the "Rust" movie set where actor, Alec Baldwin, was given a loaded gun that discharged, killing the director of photography.

Court records show Santa Fe Sheriff’s deputies found other live ammunition on the set where cinemaphotographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot in October.

According to the warrant, Seth Kenney who owns PDQ Arm and Prop in Albuquerque contacted deputies in late October and told them he suspected the live ammunition on the set might have been "handmade reloaded rounds" that he got years ago from a friend.

The warrant goes on to state that earlier this month, Thell Reed, contacted deputies with information on the ammunition.

Reed is the father of Hannah Gutierrez-Reed who was the armorer on the "Rust" movie set.

Reed told deputies that he worked with Kenney on a movie set during the August/September time frame. He said during production there was training provided to the actors for live fire with firearms, conducted at a firearms range.

Reed said Kenney had asked him to bring live ammo in the event they ran out of what was supplied. He said he brought an "ammo can" with live ammunition that was "not factory-made rounds" saying there were 200-300 rounds in the can.

After production ended, the warrant states that Reed said Kenney took the ammo can and the remaining ammunition in the can back to New Mexico. Reed told investigators that the can still had a .45 caliber colt ammunition in it.

He said after several attempts to get it back from Kenney, Kenney told him to "write it off."

The warrant states that Reed told investigators this ammunition may match what was found on the "Rust" set.

Sister station KOAT's legal expert John Day said this is a huge step forward in the investigation.

"From a law enforcement perspective, they're getting closer, literally to the smoking gun. The investigation is unfolding. It's probably not the last we've seen off of search warrants and more information coming in."

SANTA FE, N.M. —

Actor Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun on a movie set and killed the cinematographer, authorities said. The director of the Western being filmed was also wounded, and authorities are investigating what happened.

Halyna Hutchins, cinematographer on the movie “Rust,” and director Joel Souza were shot Thursday on the rustic film set in the desert on the southern outskirts of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s officials said.

A spokesperson for Baldwin said there was an accident on the set involving the misfire of a prop gun with blanks, though a charge without a metal projectile is unlikely to kill at a moderate distance. Sheriff’s spokesman Juan Rios said detectives were investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged.

Santa Fe County deputies say they responded to Bonanza Creek Ranch where the movie was being filmed after receiving a 911 call saying someone had been shot.

Hutchins, 42, died from her injuries, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office.

Souza, 48, was taken to a hospital for his injuries.

Deputies are investigating how and what type of projectile was discharged from the prop gun. No charges have been filed.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reported Baldwin was seen Thursday outside the sheriff’s office in tears, but attempts to get comment from him were unsuccessful.

Filming for “Rust” was set to continue into early November, according to a news release from the New Mexico Film Office.

The movie is about a 13-year-old boy who is left to fend for himself and his younger brother following the death of their parents in 1880s' Kansas, according to the Internet Movie Database website. The teen goes on the run with his long-estranged grandfather (played by Baldwin) after the boy is sentenced to hang for the accidental killing of a local rancher.

The film also stars Jensen Ackles and Travis Fimmel.

In 2016, a man stabbed his co-worker at this same filming location.

That incident happened in April of 2016 when the victim said he was arguing with Jame Ruelas.

He said Ruelas called him to an empty room and attacked him with a carving knife.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Police in New Mexico say four officers were injured, including three who were shot, on Thursday morning in the northeast part of Albuquerque.

Of the four injured, one is in critical condition and another is in surgery.

Police say the officers were responding to the robbery early Thursday morning at Dutch Bros Coffee on Juan Tabo Boulevard near Constitution Avenue when "things went bad."

APD Chief Harold Medina say the officer that is listed in critical condition was shot in the chest above his vest. One officer was shot in the arm and is in surgery. One officer was shot but the bullet hit his vest, Medina says that vest saved his life. The last officer was injured by glass or shrapnel.

Police say several potential suspects have been detained, one suspect was injured on the scene and they are actively searching for another suspect. That suspect is described as a man in his 20s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on that suspect or that was in the area at the time of the shooting and has video or photos is urged to contact APD.

Police say the scene is still very active and are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Several nearby schools are under a shelter-in-place order, including Manzano High School, Kennedy, Jackson, Tomasita and McCollum.
