					The Lawrenceburg community remembered a high school football star after he lost his battle with cancer.Brady Gabbard had stage four kidney cancer.  He passed within just two weeks of his diagnosis. Hundreds of students and families packed the Lawrenceburg High bleachers for a vigil at the school. "I would've never thought, especially for my own son, and him being only 14, it is very overwhelming," Brady's mom Jennifer Gabbard said.  "He was very athletic and outgoing, he loved tiger football, he loved baseball, he loved his little sister."His memory lives on through the people who loved him most."Me and Brady were like brothers and it was pretty hard hearing the news, I didn't want to believe it at first," Zayden Jameson said.Brady's jersey, his teammates, and the power of prayer overtook the field that was once his happy place.The city even issued a special proclamation in honor of the teen.  July 15, 2021, which is Brady's birthday, will officially be Brady Gabbard day in the city of Lawrenceburg.Brady's funeral services will be held Friday at Lawrenceburg High School.  All that knew him are welcome.

<p>Hundreds of students and families packed the Lawrenceburg High bleachers for a vigil at the school. </p>
<p>"I would've never thought, especially for my own son, and him being only 14, it is very overwhelming," Brady's mom Jennifer Gabbard said.  "He was very athletic and outgoing, he loved tiger football, he loved baseball, he loved his little sister."</p>
