Singer Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley, was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday, according to multiple reports citing an LA County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.

TMZ was first to report the news.

LA County Fire Department spokesperson Cailtlyn Aldana told CNN that emergency responders were dispatched to a call in the 5000 block of Normandy Drive in Agoura Hills, California, at 10:37 a.m. local time for a cardiac arrest. Aldana would not confirm the name of the patient, who could not be identified due to privacy laws, but said the patient was taken to a local hospital at 11:17 a.m.

A spokesperson for the LA County Sheriff told CNN they assisted fire officials on a medical call this morning, but also would not confirm the patient's name.

When reached by CNN, a representative for Presley declined to comment.

Presley was most recently seen on Tuesday night at the Golden Globe Awards, which she attended with her mother Priscilla to support the Baz Luhrmann film "Elvis," about her late father.

In 2020, Presley's son Benjamin Keough died by suicide at the age of 27. Last July, Presley marked the second anniversary of Keough's death on Instagram, sharing a photo of their matching foot tattoos.

Presley, who has previously been married to Michael Lockwood, Nicolas Cage, Michael Jackson and Danny Keough, has three other children — actress Riley Keough, Finley Aaron Love Lockwood and Harper Vivienne Ann Lockwood.

In September, Presley wrote an essay for National Grief Awareness Day, in which she opened up about the loss of her son.

"My and my three daughters' lives as we knew it were completely detonated and destroyed by his death. We live in this every. Single. Day," she wrote. "Grief is something you will have to carry with you for the rest of your life, in spite of what certain people or our culture wants us to believe. You do not 'get over it,' you do not 'move on,' period."

Presley also said in the essay that she found comfort in the company of people who have faced similar tragedy, adding that her daughters help keep her going.

"I keep going for my girls," she wrote. "I keep going because my son made it very clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them were at the forefront of his concerns and his mind. He absolutely adored them and they him."

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. —

A 15-year-old girl was sent to the emergency room after she was violently attacked on a Kenton County school bus on Thursday.

“I got stitches right here,” said Scott High School freshman Kyleigh Ketcham as she pointed to a spot over her left eye. “It's swollen all the way to the back of my head.”

The teen was riding home from school when she said someone from the back of the bus threw something at her. The mood was light, and kids were laughing as they pointed out the boy who was sitting behind Ketcham.

Ketcham says she poured water on the boy’s leg.

Video taken by another student shows the 17-year-old boy immediately leap from his seat and begin throwing a violent series of punches. About a dozen punches were unleashed onto the face of the 15-year-old girl.

“It just hurt really bad, but I was, like, trying to not cry in front of everyone. So, like, I didn't cry on the bus,” Ketcham said. “I was scared because, like, they could have seriously, like, done more damage.”

“It was just horrific, heartbreaking,” said the teen’s aunt, Corarinna Ketcham. “It was something out of a bad movie.”

“When he was done using her face as a punching bag, she got up and was shocked,” said the girl’s aunt.

Director of Public Information and Community Engagement for the Kenton County School District Jess Dykes released this statement about the incident:

"This type of behavior will not be tolerated and we take all incidents like this seriously. The Kenton County School District is following all policies and procedures with the district code of conduct. We are cooperating with local law enforcement on this investigation."

Taylor Mill police have filed misdemeanor assault charges against the boy.

At least three California high school students have been hospitalized after participating in a social media trend called the "One Chip Challenge," according to district spokeswoman Chelsea Vongehr.

The challenge encourages people to eat a chip covered in pepper and hot sauce.

Lodi High School Principal Adam Auerbach sent a phone message to parents Friday afternoon about the challenge, the Lodi News-Sentinal first reported. Auerbach told the News-Sentinal a number of students were referred to the emergency room because of their reactions to the substance.

The One Chip Challenge was started by chip company, Paqui, and is now trending on social media including TikTok. The challenge dares people to record themselves eating an entire Paqui chip, which is Carolina Reaper and scorpion pepper flavored. Participants then must wait as long as they can before eating or drinking anything.

"We do not have an official Scoville rating for the chip itself, however the seasoning used in the chip contains two of the hottest peppers currently available. Carolina Reaper Peppers, which are around 1.7 million Scoville Units and Scorpion Pepper which around 1.2 million Scoville Units," Paqui's website says.

British singer Jessie J says she has been diagnosed with Ménière's disease after landing in the hospital on Christmas Eve.

The "Bang Bang" singer, 32, revealed on social media over the weekend that doctors told her she had Ménière's syndrome after she woke up with a complete hearing loss in her right ear, USA Today reported.

Ménière's disease is a disorder of the inner ear that leaves sufferers feeling dizzy and can lead to hearing loss, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Jessie J is feeling better and is on the proper medication, GMA reported.

Legendary talk show host and former CNN interviewer Larry King has COVID-19, according to a source close to the family.ABC News and other news outlets confirmed the news Saturday. King, 87, has been hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for more than a week, the source said.
