A group of high school students came up with a unique way to help an animal that struggles to walk.Boone the Raccoon lives at Nolin River Wildlife Sanctuary in Hardin County. Boone has a condition that affects his coordination. To help him get around, engineering students at Central Hardin built a wheelchair-walker.A device like this can normally cost hundreds of dollars. That's why the sanctuary reached out to the high school for help."Not only is he enjoying it, loving it and getting around in it ... but he's getting stronger," Mary Key, with the wildlife sanctuary, said.Nolin River Wildlife is in Glendale. It helps nurture animals back to health with the goal of releasing them back into the wild.
