Here are Monday night's winning numbers for the $675 million Powerball jackpot

The jackpot for Monday night's Powerball was $675 million. But no one won the grand prize, according to Powerball.com. The winning numbers from Monday's drawing are:2, 24, 34, 53, 58 and Powerball 13.Monday's $675 million jackpot, worth $340.9 million in cash, is the ninth largest Powerball jackpot, according to Powerball officials. The jackpot increased to after no one won Saturday's $615 million jackpot. Since there was no grand prize winner from Monday's drawing, the jackpot now increases to $725 million, which has a cash value of $366.2 million. The next Powerball drawing is set for Wednesday, July 12.The last Powerball jackpot was won on April 19 when a ticket in Ohio matched all five white balls and the red Powerball to win a prize worth $252.6 million. Powerball tickets cost $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Signups for a chance to win a piece of Ohio’s new $2 million vaccine incentive scholarships began Monday.

Ohio is giving away 150 scholarships of $10,000 and five $100,000 scholarships.

The drawing is for those aged 12 to 25 who sign up after getting a vaccine. That age group could expand down to age 5 if the Food and Drug Administration approves the vaccine for the younger age groups later this month.

“If I didn’t have the shot, this would definitely make me do it. Money is money and you can always use more," said University of Cincinnati student Michael Morrow.

“I think it’s a great idea. I think anything that can get more people vaccinated,” said UC student Rishi Gabbita.

There is no timeframe for which past vaccinations must have occurred in this program.

“I got vaccinated before they started the new thing, but it’s definitely motivated me to get my information in there so I can maybe win some money to help with the school,” said UC student Lillian Trimple.

“It’s exciting. It’s a real opportunity and it’s squarely targeted at those younger individuals,” said the Health Collaborative’s Kate Schroder. “Overall, we have seen an impact with the incentive programs. There’s no silver bullet. Different things work for different individuals.”

The state has not given a deadline or a date for the drawings.

There has been a jackpot winner in the $730 million Powerball, the first to get the top prize in months.

Thanks to math and bad luck, lottery players had another shot at a giant jackpot Wednesday night as a $730 million Powerball prize was on the line.

The Powerball jackpot was the fifth-largest ever, and it came only a day after nobody won the even-larger Mega Millions prize, which now stands at $970 million.

Winning numbers for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing were: 40-53-60-68-69 and a Powerball of 22.

It was the first time both lottery jackpots topped $700 million. The biggest prize was a $1.58 billion Powerball jackpot won by three people in 2016.

No one had won either of the jackpots since mid-September, allowing the prizes to grow steadily for months. Such a long stretch without a winner is rare but also reflects the incredibly small odds of winning — one in 292.2 million for Powerball and one in 302.5 million for Mega Millions.

Maryland lottery spokeswoman Carole Gentry said Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing saw $260 million in sales, resulting in 36% of all possible number combinations being covered.

The prizes listed are for winners who choose an annuity option, paid over 30 years. Most winners opt for cash prizes, which for Mega Millions would be $716.3 million and $546 million for Powerball.

Those prizes also would be subject to federal taxes, and most states would take a cut as well.

Mega Millions and Powerball are both played in 45 states as well as Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball also is offered in Puerto Rico.
