The family of Robert "Bobby" Farrell Jr. talked exclusively with WLWT on Wednesday sharing a feeling of ultimate betrayal.The 23-year-old man from New Richmond disappeared more than a week ago and was found dead earlier this week.His best friend is now accused of killing Farrell.His family feels heartbreak and total shock.As investigators have peeled back the layers of what happened to Farrell, family members said they're left with nothing but broken trust and heartache.They already miss Bobby Farrell Jr.'s sense of humor and how he could fill a room with positive energy acting like a goofball."I don't get to tell my son goodbye. I don't get to go over, kiss my son on the forehead. Tell him, 'Hey son, I love you buddy. You know I'm going to take care of your daughter. My granddaughter,'" Farrell's father, Bob Farrell, said.A father's countless tears illustrate the tragic loss of his youngest son.Bob Farrell is trying to come to grips with the arrest of Bobby Farrell Jr.'s best friend, Keyanta Gardner.He said Gardner took Bobby Farrell Jr. for a ride in New Richmond on July 6, which was not unusual.But what was unusual is that his son never came home.Now, someone the family trusted for five years is charged with murder."Every person that searched asked about him, you know, 'What about the dude that seen him last?' 'Not him. That's his best friend. They would never do that to each other' and then comes out to find out, that's him. I mean, what am I supposed to feel like in my life? It was like one of my sons killed my son," Bob Farrell said.Family members said Gardner hugged them and cried when Bobby Farrell Jr. vanished.Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents said his body was found off of State Route 222 in Clermont County on Monday with at least one gunshot wound to the skull.Bobby Farrell Jr. leaves behind a 4-year-old daughter, who family members said was his world."You know, I don't have another birthday for him. He was going to be 24 this year. You know, we don't get to go to Kings Island and watching him go down the slide with (his daughter) no more. None of that. It was all stripped and took away from me and my family and it's just like he does not care," Bob Farrell said.Now, his father wants to know why. He feels betrayed.His family has been changed forever."Really, we've got two kids gone now. That's how my wife says, you know, now that, you know, besides the fact that my Bobby's gone, she was like, you know, 'Keyanta's gone, too. I loved that kid,'" Bob Farrell said.Family members said there were no signs of trouble that night.Bob Farrell still wonders if there was an accident or if the men got caught up in something wrong.He hopes to find out.Gardner is set to be in Clermont County Municipal Court on Thursday at 10 a.m., according to online records.He also said the family is overwhelmed by so much support, but that they are grateful for everyone who has helped search for their son.Bob Farrell said his son graduated from Glen Este High School in 2016.The family said Bobby Farrell Jr. played football and wrestled while attending the school.They also said he loved art and his art teacher and even recently, filled sketchbooks.The family has launched a GoFundMe account to help with expenses: https://www.gofundme.com/f/quf3s-support-for-the-farrell-familyThey have also launched the Robert "Bobby" Farrell Memorial Fund at Fifth Third Bank. Tuesday brought a heartbreaking announcement in the search for a missing Clermont County man.The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation believes a body found off of State Route 222 on Monday is that of Robert "Bobby" Farrell Jr., 23, from New Richmond.Along with new details released by officials, there are still many lingering questions.The search for Farrell started in New Richmond and has expanded into the county.Even as family members said his best friend has been arrested, the questions of "How?", "Who?" and "Why?" are still unanswered.Exclusive WLWT video showed a scene in the 2300 block of State Route 222 in Clermont County on Monday night just before 11 p.m.The road was blocked off by tape.Clermont County sheriff's deputies and the Clermont County coroner were in sight as evidence and bags were loaded into a truck.Investigators have not elaborated on everything they found on Monday night.But as of Tuesday, Ohio BCI officials said they believe they found the remains of Farrell off the roadway, describing him as the victim of a homicide.His family has been devastated since he disappeared from New Richmond on July 6."He went out with his friend and that's all we really know. He went out with his friend and never came home," Farrell's aunt, Sandy Coorey, said.Family members said Farrell's best friend, Keyanta Gardner, spent days helping them search for the young dad.On Monday, we uncovered Gardner was arrested in connection to Farrell's disappearance.Investigators said he admitted to making false and misleading statements to BCI agents.The tragedy just keeps getting worse for Farrell's family."It just hard when you watch someone grow up as a baby, and just, and you don't know what's happening," Coorey said.Neighbors in New Richmond and along State Route 222 told WLWT that police have asked for surveillance video from July 6.Clermont County dispatchers said no one called 911 to report the body, so it's unclear how it was found or when it was put there.Even still, there is a community demanding justice for Farrell.The Ohio BCI said though Gardner is already charged with tampering with evidence, additional charges are expected.Anyone with information is asked to call the Ohio BCI at 1-855-224-6446.

A family is broken after a 13-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Winton Hills.The teen's father said the pain is immeasurable and described her as the glue that held them all together.Investigators said the teen was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where she died after the stabbing Monday night."I held her. I watched her as she died. I watched her, you know. All I could do was just hold her, hold her," Maurice Jackson said.Devastation, heartache and loss are all emotions that Jackson, Nyaira Givens' father, is feeling after her sudden death."I tried. I tried to stop the bleeding," Jackson said.There are so many feelings he cannot escape, and many people wouldn't be able to either, after the loss of a child.Cincinnati police said Givens was stabbed to death by another 13-year-old girl during a fight near the family's home on Topridge Place.Prayers on Tuesday evening helped ease the heartache, but just barely."Just tried my best to protect her and be the father I could be, you know? I guess I didn't pay attention to all the other stuff that was going on around her," Jackson said.He said his daughter was the second oldest of seven children.He also said she helped keep the family together and loved school.Jackson told WLWT his daughter was a freshman at Aiken High School and went to school with the girl who stabbed her.He said they were "on and off friends," but that his daughter was being bullied.Community leaders call the scene "tragic.""Learn how to solve problems, one towards another, because just because you're mad at somebody doesn't mean that their life has to be taken because of that," Cincinnati Police God Squad Rev. Alvin Scales said.A 13-year-old's life was stolen this time and it has left a family broken."The pain I'm feeling right now, it's just, I can't explain it. It's very unexplainable. She should be burying me. I shouldn't be burying her," Jackson said.Givens' father said she was smart, mature and wanted to be a hairstylist.He said she wanted to bring beauty to the world.Police said the 13-year-old suspect is being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and is due in court on Wednesday by Zoom.She faces a murder charge.
