FORECAST. MANY OF YOU MAY BE HITTING THE ROAD, EVEN TOMORROW UP TO BUFFALO, OTHERS WILL BE STAYING HERE TO WATCH THE GAME. WE HOPE THE WEATHER WILL COOPERATE. ALLISON: BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT BUFFALO, NEW YORK COME IN JANUARY, SO WE KNOW THERE IS PROBABLY SNOW IN THE FORECAST. KELLY: IT COULD BE WORSE FOR THEM. ALLISON: IT COULD BE A LOT WORSE. WE HAVE FLURRIES FLYING THROUGH THE SKY. FLURRIES IMPACTING AREAS NORTH OF THE LOOP. WE ALSO HAVE A FEW MORE FLURRIES THROUGHOUT NORTHERN KENTUCKY. YOU MIGHT BE SEEING SOME OF THESE FLURRIES IF YOU ARE ON THE AA ARE CLOSE TO THE AA. WE ALSO HAVE FLURRIES MOVING CLOSER TO WINCHESTER. OTHERWISE IT IS DRY BUT IT IS CLOUDY AND IT WILL STAY GLOOMY FOR MUCH OF THE DAY. HERE ARE THE FLURRIES MOVING CLOSER TO I-71 RIGHT NOW. I DO NOT EXPECT TO SEE MUCH OF AN IMPACT FROM TODAY’S FLURRIES. WE WERE SO MUCH WARMER YESTERDAY , 25 TO 30 DEGREES WARMER, WHICH DID ALLOW FOR THE PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES TO WARM UP. WITH THAT LIGHT SNOW, NOT EXPECTING ANY ISSUES ON THE ROADWAYS. THE EXTRA CAREFUL AS YOU AND OVERPASSES, ESPECIALLY THROUGHOUT TONIGHT AND ONCE WE GET TO SUNDAY, YOU REALLY HAVE TO BE CAREFUL AS YOU HEAD OUT ON THE ROADWAYS. TEMPERATURE SITTING IN THE 30’S. WE HAVE 34 DEGREES IN CINCINNATI. IT IS 35 IN SPRINGBORO. IT FEELS LIKE WINTER IN FALMOUTH. 34 DEGREES IN BATAVIA. A FEW MORE HIT AND MISS FLURRIES WILL BE A POSSIBILITY. DO NOT EXPECT TO SEE MUCH OF ANYTHING. THESE WILL BE NOVELTY FLAKES THAWING FLU THIS GUY -- NOVELTY FLAKES FLYING THROUGH THE SKY. IT WILL STILL FEEL LIKE WINTER TOMORROW WITH OVERTURES PRETTY SEASONABLE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. A COUPLE CLOUD THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON BUT GENERALLY I EXPECT TO AT LEAST SEE A LITTLE BIT OF SUNSHINE. THEN SUNDAY THINGS WILL START TO CHANGE. STARTING EARLY IN THE MORNING WE BEGIN TO SEE SOME SNOW ROLLING THROUGH AND THIS COULD PUT DOWN ABOUT AN INCH OR SO OF SNOWFALL FOR MANY OF US. IF YOU LIVE IN KENTUCKY OR ANYWHERE SOUTH AND EAST DIVISIVE ANYONE YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF SEEING MORE OF A WINTRY MIX AND A COLD RAIN AND THAT WILL LEAD TO YOUR SNOWFALL TOTALS BEING ON THE LESSER END. ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI ON SUNDAY IS THIS NOBLE LAST THROUGHOUT THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY -- IS THE SNOW TO LAST AT LEAST THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY AND WRAP UP SUNDAY EVENING AND SUNDAY NIGHT. AREAS SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER HAVE A CHANCE OF SEEING THE SNOW MIXING IN WITH WINTRY MIX AND RAINFALL. ACCUMULATIONS NOT EXPECTED TO BE AS HIGH IF YOU LIVE IN NORTH AND KENTUCKY. OTHERWISE IF YOU’RE HEADED UP TO BUFFALO, LET’S CHECK OUT WHAT IS GOING ON UP THERE. THE ROADS EXPECTED TO BE SNOWY. AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE WEEKEND, SATURDAY LOOKS OK, AND BY SUNDAY WE START TO SEE THE SAME SYSTEM BRINGING US SNOWFALL BRINGING SNOW TO BUFFALO. THAT WILL HAVE IMPACTS TO THE GAME. EXPECT TO SEE SNOW FLYING THROUGH THIS DIED DURING THE GAME IN BUFFALO. FOR THE REST OF TODAY TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE 30’S. WE ARE TOPPING OUT CLOSER TO 39. SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES TODAY AND TOMORROW WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 30’S AND LOW 40’S. SUNDAY IS A WEATHER IMPACT DATE. THE SNOWFALL TITLE ON SUNDAY EXPECTED TO BE CLOSE TO AN INCH OR TWO, ESPECIALLY NORTH OF THE OHIO RIVER. ON MONDAY LIGHT SNOWFALL. THE BIGGEST SYSTEM WILL ARRIVE ON WEDNESDAY. HAVE TO GET THROUGH THIS WEEKEND BEFORE WE CAN TALK ABOUT THAT. I EXPECT TO SEE THAT BEING A LITTLE BIT MOR

Yeah, you know, we knew this winter storm was going to throw all modes of winter weather at us and true Cincinnati style, we get all of them in the morning, right? We started out with rain, then freezing rain now sleet and eventually we will see some snow but for the next couple of hours plan on being locked in with freezing rain and sleet as our kind of dominant weather types. Because I just checked in the National Weather service actually sent out there, set up their balloon this morning and it showed there's some warmer air kind of creeping in through our upper areas of our atmosphere. What that's gonna do is keep us from transitioning to snow. We're gonna stay locked in with sleet or freezing rain for the next several hours in through the rest of the morning into the afternoon as we were expecting right this afternoon, pretty sleepy before we end up transitioning to some snow. And that might not happen for some of us till tomorrow morning. So even though the radar is trying to paint Fate and Union counties blue indicating snow, it's been some sleep for them this morning. They actually were the first ones to have icy roads early and then some sleep that coded some of those cooler surfaces part of me and then in through portions of franklin County, you've got sleep coming down pretty good through much of Butler County, Middletown had accumulating sleep this morning, Springboro, same thing head down I 75 you're running into sleet and some freezing rain mixed in the pink indicating freezing rain, which is, you know, the rain that falls on stuff that's colder, right? So things that are below freezing, so accumulating on the trees, the power lines, we're getting some very pretty pictures in. But again, it's not pretty when you're driving out and especially if we're gonna see this persisting for the next several hours and you start to see more of that ice accumulating on surfaces. Eventually it can kind of sag down those tree limbs they may snap. Also the potential for power lines to be impacted by any sort of repeated rounds or sustained periods of freezing rain, which is what we're seeing right now, just a little bit to the south and through portions of northern Kentucky, freezing rain continues through all of Boone County coming down pretty good southern, just south of Florence into Independence. Spiner and kenton. We'll go east here and head out into portions of clinton and highland County's. You could see freezing rain, they're probably a little bit of sleet mixed in now, but looking at freezing rain falling in Hillsborough new market. So any of the more rural routes that have had no pre treatment, remember it was raining all day yesterday in through the overnight hours, so no pre treatment was done. So there may be some very slick rural routes here, especially in three areas of highland County and Brown and Adams counties the system as a whole is very large. But you'll notice the motion is I put a kind of our long time lapse on this check out what's kind of trailing in our direction. Right? That's that freezing rain and sleet versus the snow. That's kind of focus back toward indie that's moving in the direction of northeast Ohio. This system as a whole will shift east eventually, but we're basically hitting pause here for the next couple of hours and keeping with this wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain right now, temperature wise, right at freezing in Cincinnati at CVG To the North where we're seeing more pronounced heavy sleet is up in Butler County and Warren County where we're at 30° in Mason and Hambleton Down to 29 in Harrison and still holding on to some towns to the south that are above freezing for the morning hours. Again, this major winter storm is going to impact us, not just today, but tonight and the first part of the day tomorrow and really tomorrow is when you may wake up and see the fresh coat of snow today, it's accumulating sleet and some freezing rain with accumulating ice. So the roads will continue to deteriorate as we go through the morning, Our future Cast shows us kind of locked in for the next several hours with that mix of freezing rain and sleet, especially some heavier sleeves, that colder air finally starts to creep in this afternoon that deep blue that you're seeing here on future cast usually wants to show that a snow But we're with that sounding of our atmosphere. I think this is gonna be some heavy sleet as we get into the afternoon hours and eventually this evening as the colder air finally takes over, we'll switch over to snow and you can see that little burst of accumulating fluffy snow that will have tomorrow morning with that much colder air in place will be down in the teens when that snow is flying on friday morning. That also does come coupled with winds 20 to 30 miles an hour. So if you have some decent ice accumulation on the trees and power lines, they're already heavy, they're hanging down and you have a 30 mile an hour, wind gusts that could cause more of those to snap and potentially cause more power outages as well noticed. By late morning, tomorrow we're on the backside of the system and the very cold air arrives after that there will be plenty of towns friday night into saturday morning that dip below zero. So the biggest issue for much of our of our area will be the messy mix of sleet and freezing rain to the south though. That's where the heavy icing concerns are the greatest for us where maybe up to a half inch of ice is going to be a possibility. Alright, let's head over to Katie Donovan. I know she's kept dry and all the roads going through the morning. What's going on right now. Mm hmm.

A major winter storm is moving into the Cincinnati area and is expected to create significant impacts on roadways.LIVE RADAR // LATEST WEATHER ALERTS // CLOSINGS Significant impacts from a winter storm are expected Thursday through Friday. Travel is strongly discouraged after mid-morning Thursday.A winter storm warning for the entire WLWT viewing area is in effect through Friday morning. Radar will show a colorful picture to start the day Thursday, but what actually makes it to the ground initially will just be plain old rain. It will take some time for freezing rain to really stick to the roads as those pavement temperatures are above freezing. Don't let your guard down if you have a smooth pre-dawn commute, ice will begin to really stick to the pavement around sunrise. Spotty slick travel will be possible for the early morning drive (mainly on those bridges and overpasses), but worse road conditions are expected by mid-morning hours and into lunchtime. We'll likely see a time of heavy sleet as we push into the lunch hour and the afternoon. This will continue to deteriorate the roads across the region. Winds will be sustained to around 20 mph at times Thursday. This will create reduced visibility and sleet/freezing rain that comes down sideways.A wintry mix will begin to transition to snow through the I-275 loop and points west through the late afternoon and early evening Thursday. This is thanks to the colder air working in. Everyone sees snow through the overnight as temperatures drop to the teens.Snow continues through Friday morning. As of right now, the greatest accumulation of snow will be northwest of the 275 loop (north of 74 in SE Indiana and northernmost Butler County) with 4 to 6 inches or more possible. In and around the 275 loop and much of Greater Cincinnati will see more sleet than ice accumulation, then snow. Snow will end early Friday morning with accumulations around 1 to 3 inches. To the south and east of the I-71/75 split, the freezing rain lingers longer. This means the ice accumulation there could be 0.5 inches which causes power issues and roads turn to ice rinks. The snow totals there will be the lowest around an inch or so.Bitter cold will follow for Friday and the start of the weekend before thawing out Sunday.

KIND OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVES. SHER:EE WE DO THE SAME INTHG SO WE CAN KEEP TALENT HERE. MIKE: THIS COULD BE TOUGH STOP OUTSIDE THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS WITH THIS WIND. TEMPERATURES WILL KEEP FALLING DOWN INTO THE UPPER TEENS TONIGHT. WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE WIND YOU COULD HAVE FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURES TO AROUND 10 TO 15 DEGREES OR SO. A VERY COLD START TO TOMORROW. TOMORROW NIGHT BY THIS TIME WILL BE WATCHING FOR LIGHT SNOW IN THE GREATER CINCINNATI. THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SOME OF US TO WAKE UP TO A LIGHT BLANKET OF SNOW WEDNESDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURE SITTING AUNROD 30 DEGREES AND FEELS LIKE 20 BECAUSE OF THE NORTHWEST WIND. THIS WILL BE KEY FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. MOVING IN AT 10 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR. I DO THINK IT WILL RELAX A LOW BIT REMO TONIGHT MOVING IN AT FIVE MILES PER HOUR. WITH TEMPERATURES FALLING DOWN TO AROUND 19 DEGREES, WE ARE TALKGIN ABOUT WIND CHILL’S OF 10 ORO. THROUGHOUT THE REST THE DAY TOMORROW WE ARE NOT WARMING UP VERY MUCH. THESE ARE HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON. THE WARMEST IS 30 DEGREES AND CINCINNATI AND UPPER 20’S AND PARTS OF HAMILTON. A HIGH TEMPERATURE TOMORROW RIGHT AROUND LOVELAND AND A FEW OF US MAKING IT INTO THAT FREEZING RANGE RHTIG AROUND 80 GREESDE -- 32 DEGREES. UP TO 32 AND MAYSVILLE KTUENCKY. ON TOP OF TH IATT WILL BE CLOUDY ALL DAY LONG. THAT WINTER COAT, IF YOU HAD TO PULL IT OUT TODAY, YOU WILL NEED IT. HOT GLOVES AND SCARVES IT WILL BE DOWN RIGHT COLD. CLOUD COVER REMAINS CLEAR FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT. AS YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING YOU’LL SEE SOME CLOUDS INCREASING HERE. A FEPEW AKOFS SUNSHINE BUT IT DOES NOT LAST VERY LONG. YOU WILL SEE THE CLOSUD INCREASING FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. AT 2:00 THE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WILL BE RIGHT AROUND 30 DEGREES ANYWHERE FROM 29 TO 30 FOR THE AFTERNOON. THE REST OF THE DAY IS MOSTLY DRY UNTIL THIS TIME TOMORROW NIGHT. YOU WILL START TO SEE SOME LIGHT OW SHOWERS DEVELOPING ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI TOMORROW NIGHT RIGHT AROUND 11:00. THESE WILL CONTINUE MOSTLY OVERNIGHT WRAPPING UP EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. THAT WROTE -- AREAS ETH DEVELOP MAY PICK UP A HALF INCH TO A FULL INCH OF SNOW. MAY WIND UP SEEING SOME SNOWFALL. I TNKHI A MAJORITY OF NORTHERN KENTUCKY WILL MISS OUT ON THE SNOW EVENT. I THINK THIS WILL BE MORE OF A CINCINNATI METRO AND TO THE NORTH FOR MOST OF US. 7:00 IN THE MORNING FOR WEDNESDAY MOST OF THE SNOW WRAPPING UP. MOST OF THE SNOW IMPACT AREAS DURI OF THE SNOW IMPACT AREAS THE FIRST HALF OF THE MORNING RUSH FROM 5 A.M. TO 7 A.M. WEDNESD.AY FOR THE LATER HALF OF THE RUSH WE ARE LOOKING MOSTLY DRY. KEEP IN MIND THAT TEMPERATURES WILL B COLD, SOME OF THE SNOWFALL MIGHT STICK. UNTREADTE ROADWAYS WITH HIGHER SNOWLLFA TOTALS COULD SEE A LIGHT COATING. KEEP THAT IN MIND FOR WEDNESDAY MORNG.IN THAT IS WHY IT IS A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. WE ARE DRY RIGHT NOW AND THAT COLD AIR WILL STILL CONTINUE ON THE NORTH ANDT. W THAT WILL BRING US INTO THE TEENS TOMORROW AND WILL BE COLD AND CLOUDY ALL DAY LONG. THIS TIME TOMORROW SNOW SHOWERS BEING TO DEVELOP. I AM EXPECTING GENERALLY, ABOUT A HALF INCH OF SNOW FOR AREAS CLOSE TO THE METRO AND THE FARTHER NOR,TH THE CLOSER TO I CETIME THEY LIVE THE CLOSER YOU YOU ARE TO SEE AN INCH AND SOME ISOLATED SPOTS BY WEDNESDAY MORNING. THEN WE ARE YDRISH FOR THE REST OF WEDNESDAY. THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY TEMPERATURES STARTING TO WARM UP. WE ARE GNGOI TO MAKE IT ALL THE WAY BACK INTO THE 60’

HOME SOON AND ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER. MIKE: ALLISON ROGERS IS TIME IT OUT FOR US. ALLISON: IT IS STILL DRY ACROSS CINCINNATI NOW. AS HE LOOKED OFF TO THE WEST, THAT IS WHERE THE RAIN IS. I EXPECT THIS WILL BE SOME OF OUR WESTERN COMMUNITIES. OTHERWISE, GREATER CINCINNATI WITHIN THE METRO, I’M EXPECTING THIS RAIN TO MOVE IN CLOSER TO 4:00 IN THE MORNING. JUST RAIN AS IT MOVES THAT INITIALLY. TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO DROP AND FALL. THAT WILL CONTINUE OFF AND ON THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE WEEKEND. THIS WILL MOVE INTO THE DOWNTOWN AREA ABOUT FOUR STOCK IN THE MORNING. BY 7:00, I’M EXPECTING TO SEE SOME SCATTERED RAINFALL ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI. STATEMENT TEMPERATURES WILL BE WELL ABOVE FREEZING. BY NOON TOMORROW, WE WILL GET A BREAK IN THE ACTION. THIS FOR MAN THROUGHOUT THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING. ONE THING TO BE AWARE OF TOMORROW IS EVEN THOUGH THIS WILL NOT BE A HEAVY SNOWFALL, IT STILL COULD COME DOWN A QUICK LITTLE BURSTS AT TIMES, QUICKLY REDUCING VISIBILITY. SNOW SHOWERS CONTINUING THROUGHOUT MUCH OF GREATER CINCINNATI. FOR YOUR MORNING COMMUTE, WET ROADS OUT THERE. THINGS WILL GET MORE TRICKY OVERNIGHT. WE COULD SEE SOME QUICK DROPS IN VISIBILITY. OVERNIGHT TOMORROW WE BEGIN TO DROP. WE COULD SEE A COUPLE OF SLICK SPOTS DEVELOPING. SOMETHING TO KEEP IN MIND IF YOU WILL BE OUT TRAVELING. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP OUT IN THE LOW 40’S. BY NOON, 31 DEGREES. TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES WILL DROP DOWN TO THE MIDDLE 30’S. OFF AND ON SNOW SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. BOTH DAYS ADDING UP TO ABOUT A HALF INCH EACH. 35 FOR THE HIGH SATURDAY, SUNDAY, AND MONDAY. TEMPERATURES MONDAY MORNING WILL BE IN THE UPPER 20’S.

IT IS PURE JOY. MIKE: NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. LET’S TALK WEATHER. WE BRING IN OUR METEOROLOGIST ALLISON ROGERS, WE ARE GOING TO GET MORE OF THAT MAY BE SNOW. SHEREE: I CAN DEAL WITH WHAT WE SAW TODAY BECAUSE IT WAS HERE AND GONE. ALLISON: EXACTLY. I DO EXPECT SNOW SHOWERS TO BE QUICK LIKE THAT, BUT THEY WILL BE OFF AND ON. SATURDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY MORNING AND EVEN TUESDAY, TO BANK. WE HAVE SOME LIGHT SNOW OVER TO WILMINGTON. THESE ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO PUSH OFF TO THE NORTH AND EAST. FARTHER TO THE SOUTH, PORTIONS OF BROWN COUNTY AND EVEN A LITTLE LIGHT SNOWFALL MOVING THROUGH THERE. ON ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS POSSIBLY MOVING THROUGHOUT VERSE -- OVER TOWARDS PUSHING OFF TO THE NORTH AND EAST, MOVING INTO LOOKOUT AND MYLANTA, INDIANA. OFF AND ON SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE THE NAME OF THE GAME. PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES SO FAR GENERALLY ABOVE FREEZING BUT I HAVE CHECKED ON SOME SPOTS NORTH , AND PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES ARE DIPPING DOWN BELOW FREEZING. IF WE GET A HEAVIER BURST OF SNOW, WE COULD HAVE A COUPLE OF SLICK ROADWAYS EARLY TOMORROW MORNING, SOMETHING TO DEFINITELY KEEP IN MIND. AND POSSIBLY EVEN A QUICK DROP IN VISIBILITY, TO BANK. THE SNOW COMES IN QUICK AND IT COULD BRING THE VISIBILITY DOWN. I THINK TOMORROW DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, WE HAD -- WE GET A BREAK AND THE SNOWFALL, BUT OVERALL STAYING CLOUDY. HIGH TEMPERATURES RIGHT AROUND 35 AND THEN MORE SNOW SHOWERS BECOMING WIDESPREAD THROUGHOUT TOMORROW LATE IN THE AFTERNOON AND THROUGHOUT THE EVENING, TO BANK. YOU CAN SEE -- THROUGHOUT THE EVENING, TOO. YOU CAN SEE HOW WIDESPREAD. WE WILL GET ANOTHER BREAK IN THE SNOWFALL, BUT THEN SNOW SHOWERS EXPECTED EARLY IN THE MORNING ON SUNDAY. MORE WIDESPREAD DURING THE EVENING ON SUNDAY AND THEN ANOTHER CHANCE OF SNOW FLURRIES EARLY MONDAY MORNING. WATCH OUT FOR THE SLICK SPOTS, AND ALSO THE VISIBILITY POSSIBLY PROBLEMATIC. OFF AND ON SNOW CONTINUING THROUGHOUT MONDAY MORNING, AND TOTALS, EVEN THOUGH IT LOOKED LIKE FUTURECAST IS BRINGING IN A LOT OF SNOWFALL, WE ARE ONLY GOING TO GET ABOUT AN INCH OF SNOW THE ENTIRE WEEKEND COMBINED. MAYBE SOME SPOTS CLOSE TO TWO INCHES, BUT I AM EXPECTING MOST OF OUR TOTALS THIS WEEKEND TO BE AROUND ONE INCH. 34, CINCINNATI. 33, WILMINGTON. 31 IN BATESVILLE, INDIANA. TEMPERATURES TOMORROW AFTERNOON TOPPING OUT AROUND 35. THE SNOW FALL TOTALS GENERALLY AROUND .5 OF AN INCH. MOST OF THE SNOW SHOWERS LOOK TO BE CONCENTRATED DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENINGS. AT TIMES TOMORROW, WE COULD HAVE A WIND UP TO 15 MILES PER HOUR. POSSIBLY GETTING A LITTLE BIT BREEZY ON TOP OF THE SNOW SHOWERS. THE VISIBILITY COULD VARY THROUGHOUT THE DAY. AFTER THAT, WE START TO WARM UP BY THE TIME WE GET TO TUESDAY. 40 FOR THE HIGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON ALL THE WAY UP TO 50 ON THURSDAY WITH A CHANCE OF RAIN.

ASHLEY: IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS, SOME OF THOSE SIDESTREETS ARE DEFINITELY NOT CLEAR. STEVEN: HOPEFULLY THIS GETS CLEARED UP. I TURNED ON THE TV THIS MORNING AND I WAS LIKE, KEVIN IS STILL THERE. KEVIN: WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE MORNING CREW GETTING HERE. A LOT OF THOSE ON THE MORNING AS ABOUT HOW YOU ALERTED THEM TO THE FACT THAT IT IS TERRIFYING OUT THERE. THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT YOUR TEXT MESSAGE BECAUSE THE SNOW WAS TWO TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SEND A TEXT LIKE THAT TONIGHT, BUT OUR BIGGEST SNOWFALL SINCE 2008. HERE IS SOME OF THOSE 24 HOURS SNOWFALL REPORTS, RANGING FROM A MEASLY 2 INCHES TO AN INCH. AS MUCH AS NINE TO 10 ACROSS THE METRO. ONE BAND SET UP IN THE NORTH AND REPOSITIONED TO THE SOUTH. IT KEPT SNOWING. TALK ABOUT A SHARP CUT OFF. ALMOST 9 INCHES IN FLORENCE. BARELY 2 INCHES OF SNOWFALL. THE GOOD NEWS AGAIN TONIGHT, NO NEW SNOW. WE HAVE ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOWFALL COMING TOMORROW AND LASTING INTO THURSDAY. NOT QUITE AS WIDESPREAD. THERE MIGHT BE A LITTLE BIT OF SLEET AND RAIN MIXING I OVERALL, IT LOOKS CONSIDERABLY LIGHTER. ALREADY LOOKING AT A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. PRIMARILY BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE WE THINK THE SNOW WILL BE MIXED IN. TOMORROW AFTERNOON, LIGHT SNOWFALL. A LITTLE BIT OF A WINTRY MIX. IT WILL NOT BE A HEAVY AND STUDY SNOWFALL, BUT THE OVERALL TREND WILL BE FOR IT TO INCREASE THROUGH THE EVENING AND NIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF. SOME FLURRIES MIGHT WHISK THROUGH HERE. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL THAT WE WILL SQUEEZE OUT ANOTHER ONE TO 3 INCHES OF SNOWFALL. HOW WILL THAT LEAVE ROADS AROUND THE AREA? NOT TOO BAD. ANY SNOWFALL WILL REFREEZE. WATCH OUT FOR BLACK ICE. IT WILL BE MORE HIT OR MISS WITH PATCHY SNOW COVER. HERE IS A LIVE LOOK AT A VERY WINTER LIKE SCENE. A NORTHWEST BREEZE AT THE MOMENT. TEMPERATURES RANGING AROUND THE LOW 20’S. IT JUST DEPENDS ON YOUR LOCATION. SOME OF YOU IN THE NORTH MIGHT DIP INTO THE UPPER TEENS. TOMORROW, CLOUDY AND COLD WITH THE THREAT FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING SNOWFALL. I WILL LEAVE YOUR EVENING TO BE THE MOST IMPACTED. A LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT SNOWFALL. ANOTHER BIG SYSTEM WITH A HEFTY SNOWFALL

COURTIS: CONGRATULATIONS TO HER AND HER FAMILY. WHAT A NICE THING. AS WE ENTER TH NEXT FEW DAYS, EVERYONE WILL BE LISTENING TO EVERY WORD ALLISON AND THE REST OF OUR METEOROLOGISTS WILL BE SAYING. AS SHE MENTIONED, A FOOT OF SNOW. MOLLIE: WE JUST HAD THE NEW PREDICTION THIS EVENING. FEELING MORE CONFIDENT OF HOW MUCH SNOW WE ARE GOING TO SEE. IT WILL ADD UP QUICKLY. ALLISO ESPECIALLY MONDAY AFTERNOON, MONDAY EVENING, AND MONDAY NIGHT. WE WILL GET THE MAJORITY OF THE SNOWFALL TOTALS REALLY PILING UP. CONFIDENCE IS BUILDING. WE ARE LOOKING AT A HIGH-IMPACT SYSTEM MOVING IN ON MONDAY. ON THE RADAR, RELATIVELY QUIET ACROSS CINCINNATI. THERE ARE FLURRIES ACROSS INDIANAPOLIS. I’M LEAVING IN THE POTENTIAL FOR A FEW FLURRIES TO MOVE THROUGH GREATER CINCINNATI. ALL EYES GO TO WHAT IS COMING IN HERE ON MONDAY. SOME ARRIVING AS SOON AS LATE TOMORROW NIGHT CLOSER TO 1:00 OR 2:00. MONDAY MORNING, TEMPERATURES AROUND 15. PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO BE RELATIVELY COLD. WHATEVER FALLS MONDAY MORNING, WHICH IS LIKELY TO BE ANYWHERE FR ABOUT TWO TO THREE INCHES OF SNOWFALL AS THE SYSTEM MOVES IN, HAS A CHANCE TO STICK TO THE SURFACES, ROADS, ANYTHING LIKE THAT MONDAY MORNING. WATCH OUT FOR THE IMPACTS TO TRAVEL EARLY IN THE MORNING MONDAY. MONDAY EVENING, THE OTHER ROUND OF INTENSE SNOW WILL MOVE THROUGH. IT WILL BRI US HEAVY SNOWFALL WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS, FIVE TO NINE INCHES OF SNOW ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI. DIFFICULT TRAVEL LOOKING TO BE VERY LIKELY MONDAY EVENING. IN ADDITION TO THE HEAVY SNOWFALL, THE WIND WILL PICK UP. THAT WILL BRING DOWN VISIBILITY. SO IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE OUT MONDAY EVENING, PLAN ON BEING INSIDE AND STAYING WARM AS THE STORM MOVES THROUGHOUT CINCINNATI. OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS, RELATIVE DRY. FLURRIES WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT. BY TOMORROW MORNING, 6:00, STILL LOOKING DRY. CLOUDY ACROSS CINCINNATI. IT WILL BE COLD. THE TREND CONTINUING FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. TEMPERATURES TOMORROW AT 26 DEGREES. COLD ON VALENTINE’S DAY. BUT WE WILL STILL BE RELATIVELY DRY THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY, EVEN THOUGH IT WILL BE CLOUDY. BY 12:30, 1:00 IN THE MORNING MONDAY, TOMORROW NIGHT, ALREADY SEEING THE SNOW IN THE VICINITY. IT WILL BECOME MORE OVERSPREAD BY MONDAY MORNING. 6:00 IN THE MORNING ON MONDAY, WIDESPREAD SNOW ACROSS CINCINNATI, COMING DOWN HEAVY AT TIMES ON MONDAY. THEN I IS STILL LOOKING LIKE AT TIMES, WE WILL SEE A BREAK IN THE SNOWFALL. AT THIS POINT, IT LOOKS LIKE THE BREAK FOR THE INTENSE SNOW WILL TAKE PLACE MIDDAY ON MONDAY. THERE COULD BE FLURRIES FLYING AROUND. AT THIS POINT, IT LOOKS LIKE THE INTENSITY FALLS DURING THE DAY WITH ANOTHER ROU OF INTENSE SNOW MOVING IN MONDAY AFTERNOON. RIGHT NOW, EITHER SIDE OF 4:00 ON MONDAY. THIS WILL PUT DOWN HIGHER SNOWFALL TOTALS ACROSS CINCINNATI. AT THIS POINT, T WIND PICKS UP. GUSTS AT 20 MILES PER HOUR. MAYBE AS HIGH AS 25 MIL PER HOUR. SUSTAINED WINDS AT 15 MILES PER HOUR. REDUCTION AND VISIBILITY LOOKING LIKELY. WE ARE GOING TO HAVE HEAVY SN FALLING THROUGH CINCINNATI MONDAY EVENING AND MONDAY NIGHT. THIS WILL TAPER OFF OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY. IT TAKES PLACE CLOSER TO SUNRISE ON TUESDAY. WE STILL HAVE FLURRIES THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOW TOTALS, NINE TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW LOOKING TO BE THE MOST LIKEL SCENARIO IN THE CINCINNATI METRO AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. IT INCLUDES 71 AND A 75 IN KENTUCKY, OHIO, AND INDIANA, PORTIONS OF 74. ON THE EITHER SIDE OF THE BAND OF HEAVY SNOW COULD BE FOUR TO EIGHT INCHES OF SNOWFALL. EITHER WAY, SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS FOR TRAVEL. THAT LOOKS TO BE MORE THE CASE EARLY MONDAY MORNING AND ESPECIALLY CRANKING UP MONDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY EVENING. HEAVY SNOW MOVING THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. VERY TOUGH, IF NOT, TREACHEROUS TRAVEL ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI MONDAY NIGHT. EXTRA SNOWFALL EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. IT WRAPS UP CLOSE TO ABOUT SUNRISE. WE COULD STILL HAVE FLURRIES TUESDAY AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES FEELING LIKE 14 I CINCINNATI. THE FEELS LIKE TEMPERATURE ALSO GOING TO GET WOR INTO TUESDAY MORNING. FEELING MORE LIKE THREE DEGREES OR SO. MONDAY IS NOW A WEATHER WARNING DAY. NO LONGER A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. TUESDAY IS STILL A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. 22 IS THE HIGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. DIPPING DOWN TO THREE WEDNESDAY MORNING. IT WILL FEEL MORE

ALLISON ROGERS IS HERE WITH A LOOK AT THE FORECAST. ALLISO ESPECIALLY WITH THE INTENSITY OF THA SNOWFALL. IT DOES LO LIKE THE SNOW IS GOING TO COME DOWN SO FAST AND HEAVY THAT IT WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON THOSE ROADWAYS. PERHAPS A COUP FLURRIES DEVELOPING, BUT FOR THE MO PART, STILL DRY WE WILL START TO SEE THAT SNOWFALL BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD THIS IS ROUND NUMBER ON FAIRLY WIDESPREAD ACROSS THE AREA. THAT WILL BE THE CASE FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE MORNI COMMUTE. ROADS WILL BE IMPACTED EARLY IN THE MORNING TOMORROW. ANYWHE FROM TWO TO 3 INCHES, AND THEN WE GET A QUICK BREAK IN THE ACTION. I DO THINK THAT WE WILL SEE A BREAK IN THE HEAVY AND INTENSE SNOWFALL. THIS IS ESSENTIALLY WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN WE SAY IT IS ROUND NUMBER TWO OF THE SNOW. OVERALL, ADDING TO SNOWFALL TOTALS, MAYBE UP TO 12 FOR SOME COMMUNITIES. THIS IS THE SAME TIMEFRAME WHERE THE WINDS PICK UP CLOSE TO 20 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR. AT TIMES COMING DO ABOUT AN INCH IN OUR. HEAVY SNOW CONTINUES THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING. THAT BLUE IS SHOWING YOU THE HEAVY SNOW THAT WE ARE EXPECTING. TOTALS TO TH SOUTHEAST, IN ROBERTSON AND ADAMS COUNTY WILL LIKELY BE A LITTLE BIT LOWER. THIS WILL BE A FINE LINE OF WHERE IT SETS UP. WELL SOUTHEAST OF 71. STILL SEEING HEAVY SNOWFALL. THIS WILL ACCUMULATE VERY FAS WITH SNOWPLOWS AND SNOW CREWS UNABLE TO CATCH UP. BY ABOUT 11:00 TOMORROW NIG, THE SNOW STARTS TO LIGHTEN UP A BIT. I EXPECT BY TUESDA MORNING, LIGHT SNOWFALL ACROSS THE ARE STILL SEEING SOME IMPACT TO THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE AS WELL. TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD WITH RE-FREEZE AS A POSSIBILITY. BACK ROADS AND SIDESTREETS WILL BE SNOW COVERED. YOU WILL SEE A COUPL FLURRIES. 15 TOMORROW MORNIN TWO TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW IN THE MORNING. THAT DIFFICULT TRAVEL, TREACHEROUS TRAVEL WILL KICK IN DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING MONDAY. IT WILL BRING OUR TOTALS CLOSER TO NINE OR 12. NOT EVERYBODY WILL SEE 12 INCHE OF SNOWFALL. GENERALLY EXPECTING NINE TO 12 INCHES OF SNOWFALL. AREAS TO T SOUTHEAST PICK UP A LITTLE BIT LESS. COULD SEE CLOSE TO FOUR TO 8 INCHES. WATCH OUT FOR SNOW-COVERE ROADS . LOW VISIBILITY BECAUSE OF THAT SNOWFALL. SLICK TRAVEL BECAUSE TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE TEENS. THE WIND CHILL WILL BE CLOSER TO SING DIGITS. BEHIND THE SYSTEM, IT WILL USHER IN COLD AIR. WHEN CHILLS WEDNESDAY WILL BE CLOSER TO 10 BELOW

COURTIS: LET’S TURN OUR ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER. IT IS STARTING TO COME DOWN AGAIN AND EXPECTING THIS TO LAST OVERNIGHT. MOLLIE: EVEN TOMORROW MORNING, THERE IS GREATER CONCERN ABOUT WHAT WE WILL SEE WHEN WE WAKE UP. ALLISON: WE WILL STILL SEE SOME MORE SNOW HERE OFF AND ON. WATCH OUT FOR SLICK SPOTS ON ALL COMMUTES FROM NOW UNTIL TUESDAY MORNING. 24 ON WEDNESDAY. I DID MAKE TUESDAY A WEATHER IMPACT DAY. WIND CHILL DOWN INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS. AFTER THAT, KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON THE SECOND HALF OF THE WEEK, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE SOME R
