<p>MIAMI, Fla. — With Hurricane Ian set to strike Tampa Bay sometime this week, the Buccaneers announced they are temporarily relocating to Miami.</p>
<p>On Monday, the team said on Twitter that they would be moving to Miami-Dade County Tuesday and then spend the week practicing at the Dolphins' facility. </p>
<p>"No changes have yet been made to Sunday's game schedule," the team added.</p>
<p>According to ESPN, the league is monitoring the situation, but for right now the Bucs are still planning to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.</p>
<p>If the game has to be postponed because of the storm, it's unlikely the game will be moved to Miami because the league doesn't want to take away state resources for a game that could be better utilized for recovery efforts, ESPN reported.</p>
<p>A hurricane warning was issued for the area Monday, with the National Hurricane Center projecting the hurricane to make landfall by Wednesday as a Category 4 storm, the Associated Press reported.</p>
<p>The last time a major storm hit the city was Oct. 25, 1921.</p>
<p>The team also announced Tuesday that they are rescheduling the induction of former head coach Bruce Arians into the Ring of Honor, which was supposed to happen on Sunday.</p>
<p>The team said that ceremony would be rescheduled for a later game.</p>

<p>TAMPA, Fla. (<a class="Link" href="https://www.abcactionnews.com/sports/tampa-police-attempting-to-arrest-former-buccaneers-receiver-antonio-brown">WFTS</a>) — Officers with the Tampa Bay Police Department have been trying to get former Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown to come out of his house after an arrest warrant was issued.</p>
<p>Police used a megaphone to call out to Brown, asking him to surrender. Police told Brown they'd already spoken with his attorney. Officers were also seen knocking on Brown's door, and could be heard saying, "We're not going anywhere."</p>
<p>The arrest warrant comes after Tampa Police were denied a temporary ex parte risk protection order for Brown. In the protection order request, Tampa Police alleged Brown "poses a significant danger of causing personal injury to him or herself or others in the near future and beyond by having a firearm or any ammunition in their custody or control or by purchasing, possessing, or receiving a firearm or any ammunition."</p>
<p>Tampa Police said in the protection order request that Brown had access to two guns, including one handgun he carries.</p>
<p>According to the affidavit attached to the protection order request, police said Brown "was involved in a recent act or threat of violence against themselves or other others; was engaged in an act or threat of violence, including but not limited to acts or threats of violence against themselves, within the past 12 months; may be seriously mentally ill or may have recurring mental health issues; has used or threatened to use, against themselves or others, any weapons; and has been arrested for, convicted or, had adjudication withheld, or pled nolo contendere to a crime involving violence or a threat of violence in Florida or in any other state."</p>
<p>The protection order request and arrest warrant came after an incident between Brown and the mother of several of his children on Wednesday.</p>
<p>During the incident, Tampa police said Brown began throwing the woman's belongings out of the house. At some point, before police arrived, Brown allegedly came out of the home and "threw a shoe at the victim striking her in the ponytail."</p>
<p>By the time police arrived, Brown had allegedly locked all of the doors and windows to the home and refused to come out.</p>
<p>Police said Brown offered to let the children go inside the home, "but the kids did not want to go inside because they were afraid of their dad when he gets in these destructive moods."</p>
<p>Police said they made multiple attempts to get Brown to open the home but were never successful. According to police, Brown had placed an informal eviction notice on the door and repeatedly said the woman had no right to be at or enter the home.</p>
<p>The woman eventually left with her children and was told by Tampa police to "spend the night at a hotel or friends (sic) house and just let suspect cool down and not try to have any contact with him for a few weeks as not to instigate the situation any further while law enforcement action is taken."</p>

					Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown said Wednesday he was fired "for having a painful injury" during a game Sunday.Brown, who could be seen upset on the sideline during a game against the New York Jets, ultimately removed his uniform and shoulder pads, waved to the crowd and walked off the field mid-game.In a statement, Brown said he had relented to pressure "directly from my coach" to play despite an injured ankle, getting a painkiller injection beforehand from the staff to help deal with the injury.The seven-time NFL Pro Bowler doesn't name the coach he is referring to in his statement, but attorney Sean Burstyn told CNN that Brown is referring to head coach Bruce Arians.CNN has reached out to the Buccaneers for comment regarding Brown's statement Wednesday.Brown said in his statement he played until the ankle pain was extreme.He said Arians came up to him on the sideline asking what was wrong, and that he explained it was his ankle. Brown claims Arians "ordered" him to get on the field, and Brown said he told him he couldn't. Brown said Arians then shouted, "You're done!" and that Arians ran his finger across his throat.In a post-game interview Sunday, Arians told reporters, "He is no longer a Buc, alright? That's the end of the story."On Monday, Arians told reporters that Brown didn't tell him he was injured. "We had a conversation and he left the field," Arians said. When asked if the conversation with Brown on the sideline was at all regarding an ankle injury, Arians replied, "No.""I wish him well," Arians said. "I hope if he needs help, get some ... It's very hard because I do care about him."Brown said he had an MRI on Monday, which shows "broken bone fragments stuck in my ankle, the ligament torn from the bone, and cartilage loss, which are beyond painful," according to the statement, and that he needs surgery. Brown also addresses in his statement how he left the field."I know we were losing to the Jets and that was frustrating for all of us," Brown said. "But I could not make football plays on that ankle. Yes, I walked off the field. But there's a major difference between launching from the line and taking hits, compared to jogging off the field with a rush of emotions going through your mind. I am reflecting on my reaction, but there was a trigger. The trigger was telling me that I'm not allowed to feel pain.""Antonio Brown never faked an injury in his life," Burstyn said. "It is incredible that people are pushing false rumors that what happened Sunday was the result of mental health issues and not a well known ankle injury. Mental health is important, but so is basic dignity."While Brown's future remains unclear, he was not released by the Buccaneers on Monday, according to the NFL's transactions report.Asked about the team not making an official transaction, Arians said Wednesday, "It's a management decision, what's happening right now," and when asked if it was a matter of "how" and not "if" Brown will be removed from the team, Arians responded with, "Right."

					Antonio Brown and two other NFL players have been suspended immediately for three games by the league for violating COVID-19 protocols.The Tampa Bay wide receiver and teammate Mike Edwards were suspended Thursday. The suspensions are effective immediately.The NFL Players Association, which developed the protocols along with the league, represented the three players during a review of the recent allegations that players misrepresented their vaccination status. Brown, Edwards, a cornerback, and Franklin, a defensive back who last played for the Bucs in 2019, were found in violation of the protocols.Last month, Brown was accused of obtaining a fake COVID-19 vaccination card in order to circumvent NFL protocols, according to a report published by the Tampa Bay Times.The allegation came from Brown's former live-in chef, Steven Ruiz, the newspaper said. Ruiz said he came forward with the accusation after Brown failed to pay $10,000 owed to him.Ruiz said he was asked by Brown's girlfriend to get the fake card in July.Ruiz was unable to acquire a vaccine card for Brown, but claimed the player later showed him fake cards Brown had obtained for himself and his girlfriend, the Times reported.After the story broke, the Buccaneers released a statement saying they had vaccination cards from all players and that "all vaccination cards were reviewed by Buccaneers personnel and no irregularities were observed."Brown's attorney, Sean Burstyn, told ESPN at the time that Brown was vaccinated.NFL rules do not require players to be vaccinated, but those who are unvaccinated are subject to additional precautions including daily testing, masking and eating separately from teammates during meals.Brown's career has been marked by off-field incidents, and he served an eight-game suspension last season before joining Tampa Bay. That punishment came after he made a no-contest plea to burglary and battery charges last year. Brown also was accused of sending threatening text messages by a woman who said he also made sexual advances toward her.Brown, 33, has played parts of 12 seasons in the NFL. He was an All-Pro in 2014, '15, '16 and '17 with Pittsburgh, and also has been with the Raiders, Patriots and Bucs, though he never played in a game for the Raiders.“The health and safety of players and personnel is our top priority," the NFL and NFLPA said in a joint statement. "The protocols were jointly developed working with our respective experts to ensure that we are practicing and playing football as safely as possible during the ongoing pandemic. The NFL-NFLPA jointly reinforce their commitment and further emphasize the importance of strict adherence to the protocols to protect the well-being of everyone associated with the NFL.”Hearst station WCVB contributed to this report.

<p>TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa homeowner says it's <a class="Link" href="https://www.abcactionnews.com/sports/super-bowl/tom-brady-broke-into-his-house-now-hes-cheering-brady-on-to-a-super-bowl-win" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a story he'll one day tell his children</a>. </p>
<p>For Tom Brady it was, at the most, an embarrassing moment. But for David Kramer it was much more than that. In fact, it even helped him sell his house.</p>
<p>Kramer will never forget one April day in 2020 when Tom Brady — new to Tampa having just signed to a new team for the first time in his 20-year career — <a class="Link" href="https://asnn.prod.ewscripps.psdops.com/sports/QB-tom-brady-mistakenly-enters-florida-mans-home" target="_blank" rel="noopener">broke into his house</a>.</p>
<p>“Who can say that?" Kramer asked. "Who can say Tom Brady accidentally walked into their house."</p>
<p>Kramer was confused as a tall, shadowy figure opened his front door.</p>
<p>“He didn’t scare me because he just looked so nice and he walked in with such confidence that it was just like he belonged there," Kramer said.</p>
<p>It doesn’t hit either of them at first.</p>
<p>“And he goes, ‘What's up man?’ he just looked at me and I just go, ‘I don't know man, you tell me,'" Kramer recounted.</p>
<p>It turns out Brady was looking for the home of Byron Leftwich, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offensive coordinator. Kramer happened to be Leftwich's neighbor. </p>
<p>Brady quickly realized he was in the wrong house.</p>
<p>“He had this look on his face like terror, like, ‘Oh my god I did it again,'" Kramer said.</p>
<p>"Did it again," because Brady had recently been <a class="Link" href="https://asnn.prod.ewscripps.psdops.com/news/national/coronavirus/tom-brady-spotted-working-out-in-tampa-park-despite-covid-19-closures-mayor-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">booted from a closed Tampa park</a>. The internet joked the former Boston-resident was now officially a "Florida Man."</p>
<p>It then clicked in Kramer's head why the stranger's face seems so familiar.</p>
<p>“I want(ed) to yell his name and be like Tom, Tom, Tom! I couldn't get it out," said Kramer.</p>
<p>The homeowner says none of his family or friends even believed him until the story blew up. The strange and brief encounter even helped him sell his house.</p>
<p>“[The realtor] said, 'this is the house Tom Brady walked in on,' and she did use that and it did sell," he said.</p>
<p>Kramer cheered on Brady and the Buccaneers Sunday as the quarterback won his seventh Super Bowl.</p>
<p>“Tampa's fired up...I've never seen the town like this," he said.</p>
<p>Kramer wants Brady to know there are no hard feelings. If the "GOAT" ever has the time Kramer, says he’d love to know what Brady thought in that awkward moment.</p>

<p>TAMPA BAY — Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans won’t soon forget their Super Bowl LV victory on their home turf of Raymond James Stadium.</p>
<p><a class="Link" href="https://twitter.com/calligrammer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reilly Haney</a> will make sure of that. He has hand-written every single word that Buccaneers play-by-play announcer Gene Deckerhoff said during the big game onto a poster. It’s a calligram. When you step back, it creates the Bucs logo.</p>
<p>“Handwriting and patience are all it takes,” Haney said. “I can’t draw. I can’t paint. But I have this creative energy I like to unleash every once in a while.”</p>
<p>Haney is a disabled U.S. Navy veteran who turned a hobby into a career by creating <i><a class="Link" href="https://calligrammer.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Calligrammer</a></i>.</p>
<p>“Everything you see on the print is my actual handwriting,” Haney said.</p>
<figure class="Figure" itemscope="" itemtype="https://schema.org/ImageObject">
<div class="Figure-container">
<p>Calligrammer</p>
</div>
</figure>
<p>They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This poster commemorating the Bucs as Super Bowl champions contains nearly 10,000 hand-written words that took 40-50 hours to write.</p>
<p>“I would have the game on my computer and pausing it and playing it like ten seconds at a time,” Haney said. “Deckerhoff would say ‘Leonard Fournette runs in for a touchdown.’ I pause it, write that. It’s a lot more tedious than reading it. Tedium is the name of the game.”</p>
<p>Haney, who lives in San Diego, first got in the game by putting pen to paper after the “Philly Special,” a play that helped the Philadephia Eagles win Super Bowl LII.</p>
<p>“I did it because I could not find any Eagles artwork that I liked for the house,” Haney said. “I saw this style from someone who did it for comic books. I emailed him asking if he would make something like this. He was not into sports. So, you know I have decent handwriting and a whole bunch of patience, so why not give it a shot.”</p>
<p>Yes, he’s an Eagles fan but finds something distinctive about Deckerhoff.</p>
<p>“They don’t come like Deckerhoff,” Haney said. “Just writing that he has a whole bunch of energy that you don’t find anywhere else. You guys are really lucky to have him.”</p>
