CINCINNATI —

A fire in Bond Hill Monday evening caused an estimated $50,000 in damage to a two-story, multi-family residence.

There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters.

According to a release from the Cincinnati Fire Department, crews were dispatched to 4563 Paddock Road at 8:19 p.m., for a report of an automobile fire.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered the burning vehicle close to the building and impinging on the structure.

A neighbor alerted the occupants to the fire prior to CFD's arrival, and residents safely self-evacuated.

Firefighters identified a working fire at the rear of the structure in the vehicle parked outside a basement-level, two-car garage.

The fire had extended up a back wall toward both floors of the building but was quickly knocked down by firefighters.

Firefighters entered the building and determined the blaze had not spread to the interior of the structure, and no one was inside. They then worked to clear the smoke and remove any combustible materials from the building.

No occupants were displaced as a result of the fire.

Paddock Road was shut down in the area around the fire for more than two hours, and a Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit remained on the scene late Monday evening.

CINCINNATI — Two people were killed following a shooting on Saturday evening in Bond Hill.

Cincinnati police identified the victims as Brice McGlothin, 29, of Fairfield and Ameer Mu-Min of San Francisco, according to a report released Monday morning by the Hamilton County Crime Labratory.

According to law enforcement, officers responded to a report of a double-shooting around 7:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Anita Place. When officers arrived, police said they found McGlothin and Mumin shot. Cincinnati Fire crews responded and determined both victims were dead.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police are trying to identify a man wanted for rape and kidnapping in Carthage on Sunday.

Police said the incident occurred along the 6600 block of Vine Street in the early morning.

The man is in his mid-30s, stands 5-foot-8, weighs 175-200 pounds, is Black and may frequent the Carthage and Bond Hill neighborhoods.

Police also released surveillance footage of the suspect from a Dayton travel stop, seen wearing gray sweatpants and a black jacket.
